How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I've read over what I've written...
Hi
I've read over what I've written and I'm honestly trying to not make this an angry post. But I am emotional and not happy at the moment. I honestly am not the type of person that will write a bad review for anyone, but I have literally had enough of this injustice.
I've had revision rhinoplasty in Istanbul, Turkey this year, by Dr Salih Emre Uregen and wanted to post my experience for those that are considering going abroad as I find that it's so difficult just knowing for sure who to go with.
I'm originally from Australia. I originally had two bad nose surgeries by one of the best in Melbourne, but as a result of his work i ended up with a crooked nose. I didn't trust him anymore, and after spending $20,000 all up on him, I went to Turkey to get revision.
The Doctor was professional and nice and so was his wife Cigdem who works as his assistant.
Communication has been so good, up until today. Every time I messaged with a concern, I get a response back, which I think is really great, and every time i got a message back it was a beautiful smiling voice message or video message from Cigdem which honestly made me so happy to have chosen them despite the way my nose looked but today I am not happy at all.
As my swelling went down, the irregularities became more noticeable. I will upload my photo and you all can be the judge if you would be happy walking around like this. Not for $15,000. Doctor cost $10,000 AUD plus Obviously the hotel cost of staying in Istanbul, plus flights from Australia. This is a ridiculous price to be paying for a doctor in TURKEY. DO NOT. It is not even WORTH IT. I have learnt the hard way.
I'm 2 months post op at the moment, and I have a weird swelling on the side of my bridge which I did not have before. This swelling has been there since my bandages came off. I did not bump it anywhere. I've been so over prtoective of my nose because honestly it's not an experience I wanted to ever experience again
As you can see from the photo, my bridge is not straight, which is one of the key things we spoke about that was to be fixed otherwise I would NOT have undergone surgery. There is a dint in my nose. And a weird swelling that feels like bone.
My nose was slightly crooked prior to this op it had a C deformation, and one of the main concerns to be fixed was this crookedness. So I'm sort of disappointed that this has not fixed, as I have also paid a lot of money because I trusted that my bridge would be straight. I honestly would not have paid that amount of money for any doctor in Turkey if I thought my main concern would not be fixed.
On the positives, my nose is now smaller and cuter. But due to the bridge, and the bump and the columella unevenness, I feel so self conscious, I don't even want anyone to take my photo. Also my nose looks crooked from the tip also. I will add photos later.
I am hoping this swelling goes away and I can then post update pics. I'm still hoping to say I recommend this doctor just because he was so nice and I had such huge trust in him. I felt safe with him. But at the end of the day I'm unhappy with results and communication today. A phone call would have been nice and a b plan in case things don't settle.
Please do your research properly and make sure you see lots of patient's before and afters before you book with your chosen doctor. Make sure they are not snapchat filtered photos. Video's are better.
I now regret not going to another doctor in Turkey.
