I've been contemplating breast implants for years...
WORTH IT$4,000
I've been contemplating breast implants for years but more recently after a weight loss surgery 1yr 8mo ago. My breast aren't non existent but they aren't what they used to be and what they used to be was the smallest I could stand. Now I've reach this point where none of my old bras quite fit and get lost in the sauce. I'm ready to take the plunge, I'm recently married, I've nearly reached my desired weight. I've made most of the lifestyle changes that I believe are important to achieve my overall fitness goals so I believe the time has come for me to invest in my breasts. My expectations are to have at least a D cup, maybe a DD. I want round smooth silicone implants. I've requested a consultation with a doctor that is local, partially out of convenience but also because he has stellar reviews so why not start there and work my way out? I'll try to keep my journey updated because I know how much others stories have helped me and you never know who's reading.

Had my first consultation!
I went in for my first consultation and it went more or less as I expected. I knew I'd go in with a vision and then be given realistic expectations. Unfortunately there's really no way of knowing how implants are going to sit on your body until you have them and you just have to put faith in your surgeon that he will do everything in his power to get you as close to your goals as possible. My main concern is the closeness of my breast, there is a 3 fingers width between them now and I'd like that to be just one finger or touching each other after surgery. I was told 605cc with a high profile was the best option based off the last wish pic I posted. I was so pleased with my first visit but I wanted to keep exploring my options and recently I found a doctor outside my initial search because I started locally in Tampa and moved outward. This doctor is in Miami, not only is he a top doctor and made realself 100 but he is only a 4 hour drive and much much more affordable. I want to go in person for an evaluation before changing my choice because although the reviews and pictures are convincing, I won't know if he's the right choice for me without meeting him. I also was watching surgery videos today, good lord those turned my stomach! I hate seeing stuff like that but I like to be well informed. I saw these 2 new pictures on another users profile and I'm going to use them along with the others to show the next doctor. One thing I'm scared of is amongst all the great pictures I saw one set of results that made me seriously question the practice so I'm on the fence. Going to see about making a trip to Miami in the next couple of weeks.
Oh and after weight loss surgery I find myself longing for a thigh lift and came across body contouring, I'm not sure if it's for me but I'm researching it. 4 months until my birthday so I'm focused on my breast for this year but body contouring 2017? Maybe.

Financing aquired
Huge bump in the road was getting financing for my surgery, I got a hefty credit limit increase on one of my cards and that's going to be how I pay for my procedure. Before you go applying left and right for medical credit cards I would seriously recommend this. Only because the money isn't limited to medical expenses after and might boost your credit score. In my experience it's going to work out because I can pay it back in a few months but it might not be the best option for everyone. I just wish I had thought of this first! Anyway I'm super excited, I think I might go with my second doctor, I always look up malpractice suits and he has some but not since the 90's. I have a date in mind but now that there's nothing holding me back I'm kind of nervous. I'm very picky and worried if my results aren't to my standards I'll have to have them removed. Let's be honest we've all seen bad breast augmentations! My husband has been more encouraging than before when it was just a discussion, he sees how much it means to me to reclaim my breasts and today said he was excited for me, that meant the world to me. I'm going to let him review the doctor's before and after pictures and get his opinion and if everything goes well I think I'll schedule my surgery by Friday.

Congratulations on your weight loss and your lifestyle changes! Glad you can get this surgery for yourself. When do you hope to get your surgery?
Oh that will be a wonderful birthday gift! ;)
