Anyone have any new updates on good doctors who give good results for reconstruction. i’m healing better and it’s been a little over a year from removal. and it’s been almost a year from when i had the wound vac
looking for bbl reconstruction
Hello it’s been a while since I’ve posted..... I got my removal done July 2019 with Dr Dias Paz in Cali Colombia.... To me the surgery went well .... I stayed 15days in Colombia & the dr said he took out at least 90%. The surgery wasn’t bad at all... Only thing that was difficult was having in the drain tubes & putting on the fijai.....
When I got back to the states I was also fine.... When I left the doctor said I still had fluid and he showed me how to drain with syringe.... I eventually was unable to drain myself & went to a surgeon in the states where they told me I could leave it alone, get the fluid aspirated or put drains back in me.... He said the good thing was I didn’t have an infection....
After choosing to have the fluid aspirated immediately that night I felt sick... The next day I had cold sweats and a fever..But on August 16th 2019 I was admitted into the hospital for 11 days for an septic infection and two abscess in both hips......
Dr Diaz Paz told me to let them open me up..... Which they did and I had to be on a wound vac for 4 months.... I finally returned to work in December.... & the scars and wound has closed and is healing.... I still have some scar tissue... However my friend went to the same doctor for removal and experienced some similar things.....
In December she went to get her BBL and tummy tuck plus reconstruction with Dias and has an infection and has to have a wound vac because of an abscess..... My question is has anyone experienced these problems? Should I change doctors? Originally I was looking into Torres but was unsure because he was gonna do the BBL with the removal ... Plus I didn’t like the fact he mentioned a laser....
I’m not sure what to do..... I really loves Dias but I don’t want to catch an infection again.... I also saw on here Torres is better for removal possibly not reconstruction but I do like his work..... I heard Dias is better for reconstruction but I’m not sure if there’s something he may have done wrong with my removal..... I’m torn in between the two.... I know Dias knows my body already and Torres is going up on his prices it seems.... Anyone have any comments please help

Surgery Date
So I’m finally going for my removal.... after searching for doctors, and going on consultations.. I finally made a choice to go with Doctor Andres dias Paz. Him and his staff have been very helpful as to answering questions responding back promptly and I’m excited to move onto a more healthier, less painful and more comfortable chapter in my life.. My story started almost 14 years ago.... just like everyone else the same symptoms etc... Now I’m ready to move on....I’ve researched many doctors and he is the one... a little bit more expensive then some of the other doctors in Columbia but more experienced, in my case.. and not as expensive as the doctors in the US. Open surgery on July 10th... I’ll keep y’all posted! Hopefully I can help someone else while helping myself. However I am debating about the recovery house...... I seen on air bnb a recovery house called El eden recovery house and spa has anyone heard of it? The air bnb is much cheaper then the recovery house has anyone considered this or has gotten a air bnb instead... if I needed to hire a nurse instead does anyone have any recommendation , because I maybe bringing my family & kids so I rather an air bnb. Can I have some opinions! I have to stay 15 days and arrive 2days prior to surgery... need my family for support
