This young patient underwent filler removal of an unknown substance on the upper lip. This filler may be fake Juvederm, Restylane, silicone, or bellafill/artefill/aquamid/pmma.

35-44 year old woman treated with Silicone Injection Removal

This patient had silicone or PMMA injected into her lips and had sagging lip contour with a long philtral column on the upper lip. She requested a discrete lip lift in which the silicone biopolymer is removed and the lip lifted. The treatment was performed under local anesthesia and included a lip lift and removal of foreign body silicone and biopolymer with biofilm.

Patient underwent two rounds of unknown injections about 15 years ago. After noticing some unevenness and lumps on her lips she decided to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.
