The told me my allergy wasn't real and gave me the medication anyways

I had a septoplasty, rhinoplasty, turbinate reduction and a tonsillectomy this morning. I informed the PA that I have an allergy to hydrocodone and that I break out in burning itching hives all over. He told me that that's not a real allergic reaction and prescribed it anyways and told me to just take Benadryl. Well I took the dose of hydrocodone and had an allergic reaction. My boyfriend called the doctor to let them know and they said again that it's it real and that if I want I can just take Tylenol. I don't even know what to do right now. The hydrocodone helped a bit with the pain but it was horrible without it.
