I'll be 4 weeks post op on Thursday from surgery and 3 weeks post op on the 2nd surgery to remove the hematoma. They took my drain out 2 weeks ago yesterday from the hematoma surgery so today I had to go in for a 2 week follow up for that. And I got fantastic news which was that I am released for all activities (except certain upper body exercises like chest presses etc...which totally doesn't affect me because I just run) He said I looked great, that my hematoma side had responded fabulously and that I could stop massaging (which honestly I never was because I was happy with how they were dropping on their own). Got released for normal bras as well. Just said to keep wearing sports bra at night and that there would still be tender spots and I'd still have uncomfortable moments but they should get less and less. Feel like I made it over a hump. Next appt is 2 months from now. Yay!

They are look really awesome and I love the I just flash myself lol! It's worked for me for years now, I do my housework topless but also so I can see my stomach/waste line as I go about doing my work with my music cranked and dancing around getting a workout at the same time. However it's not so good when you hear the doorbell ring and the exterminators here, then it's like oh crap...mad dash for a robe!

The size obsession continues!

ccf1616
So I thought I'd stop worrying about size once I PICKED a size pre op and went with it. Nope now I'm worried about what size they will END up! Seriously, I've obsessed about it all day. I guess because I'm so happy with how they are looking right now. Where they are sitting and the shape and size and I know they are going to change and i'm worried I will hate them when they start to drop and fluff and whatever else they might do since they clearly have a mind of their own and don't care what I want! LOL

As I mentioned in my last update I had measured myself and was sitting at a 32d and while I know they are going to change I had to see how accurate I was and really how big they were now as opposed to pre op so I went to VS today and go measured there. Sure enough she measured me right at a 32d or said I could go up to 34dd. I'm actually really really pleased with this size and now I'm just obsessed and worried about how much they will change and if I will lose a size or gain a size or what shape they will be or how low they will go or this or that or ARGH! I thought I'd be done obsessing about boobs!

Also, I have found THE BEST method to snapping me out of the "oh, I'm so sick of my arms hurting. Oh I'm so sick of this morning boob. Oh I'm so sick of sleeping on my back." I seriously get up and flash myself in my mirror. Totally worth it!

Lovin' them!

You're cute...FLASH... I do the same thing! I'm sure no matter where you end up , they will be beautiful! You may like them EVEN MORE!!
July 24, 2014
I know! You have the best outlook ever! You've healed so nicely and look great! I'm hoping I will def like them even more!!! That's the goal!
July 24, 2014
First they look great! My surgery was June 18th and I'm still obsessing over final size too!!! I'm the one that went with 375 left and 400 right. Same weight height as you and told you to go with 450 because I totally felt I went to small after swelling went down. Did you go 450? I think if you went with 450 your end result is going to be great. I still don't have ally sensation only lower pole but mine were inserted at crease so I thought that may be why. Have your kids or ex noticed yet? My kids haven't and I've yet to wear a tank top around my ex;)
July 24, 2014
Haha no the kids and ex have not noticed but I've not worn a tank around the ex either. I mean of he finds out eventually so be it but I'm not advertising it to anyone. I went with 425. I think I'll be ok but I think I'm just getting use to them and now I'm like hmmmm I'm worried they are gonna shrink up and disappear! Haha I'm just happy with how they look now and I know they'll change so I'm just hoping i still like then when they do!
July 24, 2014
Lol...I totally have nightmares of mine shrinking more! I often wake up first thing in the morning and grab them to make sure they are still there! It is truly amazing how much they shrunk since surgery day and even 5 days post op! I keep praying there is no more swelling to go down!

Wow! You're looking great! Glad that you're healing well and the second surgery was so successful. :)
July 24, 2014
Thanks so much! Yes the second surgery was such a huge help. I was really depressed about it at first but am so glad it's over and I've healed well since.
July 23, 2014
Wow you look great!! You'd asked about the massages, my surgeon doesn't have us do them but he said if I want to massage them then I can around 3-4 weeks post op because doing it to early could cause bleeding inside if something is still trying to heal from the surgery. I also went transaxillary and have mondors cord in both arm pits so it's made lifting my arms very difficult so I'm with ya there. Hopefully those go away soon and gain some relief. Happy healing!
July 24, 2014
What is Mondors cord exactly. I haven't heard of that but it doesn't sound pleasant and I'm sorry you're having to deal with it! I got released to massage one week post op but I really haven't done much. I'm happy with how they are changing on their own and I don't know if I want to massage them too low. Too many options! haha

It's basically thick veins that are a little smaller than the size of a pencil. They happen around incision sites. Makes it very difficult to raise my arms because I can feel them pulling and sometimes they are painful.
