Plastic Surgery Nightmare

Okay so since they have had three of my reviews deleted from google reviews, I'm going to take the time to post my full review here. Rhinoplasty is something I have wanted for as long as I can remember. I looked really hard to find a good doctor. I saw all of the good google reviews on clinical renueva and went in for a consultation. I now know that they are having reviews deleted, which is so shameful for a supposedly ethical business because I trusted those reviews. Dr. Robles seemed very nice and knowledgable when I went in for the consultation, so I decided to proceed. Once I got there, I paid $5000 for a nose job and $1000 for a chin implant recommended by Dr. Robles. Once I put on my robe, I went into the doctor's office so he could take the before pictures. He was trying to pull my robe down. I was so confused, trying to explain to him that this is a rhinoplasty not a breast augmentation. But honestly, I don't think he was mixed up, I think he knew exactly what he was doing. When the nurse went to put in the IV, she had to stick it in at least three times. When she put it in, she dug and churned trying to find the vein. For a long time. Very painful. Both of the backs of my hands were covered in black bruises. I have never ever bruised that bad before. At this point I knew I needed to leave, but I had already paid and was so excited to finally feel better about my nose after all those years. When I came out of surgery everything seemed fine. The day before my follow up appointment, the splint they put on my nose was coming loose and I took it off thinking "they'll just put a new one on tomorrow anyways". Yes I acknowledge now that this was a mistake. However, they blame the entire result on this and I really don't think that having the splint off for less than 24 hours can give you a completely disastrous result. I should note, the "splint" was a cheap piece of uneven plastic. So I came in for my follow up appointment and they replaced the splint. Before I had even crossed back over the boarder to the US, I looked in the mirror and it had fallen off. I told them it fell off and apparently the splint is so important but they never had me come in to put it back on. They blamed me and accused me of taking it off no matter how many times I told them I didn't touch it. They also blamed the result on that. What I had after they were done with me was a nose that sagged when it was straight before and I had actually asked them to make it lifted. The front was enlarged and misshapen. I also started to snore badly and had trouble breathing. My breathing declined as time went on. They kept saying the healing was not done when I brought the results up, aside from blaming me, but at nearly the year mark it looked the same. They always made me feel like a nag and weren't comforting at all. I've actually had people tell me "you looked way better before your nose job". After the initial month was over they were supposed to have me come back for a follow up in three months. Never happened. I had to ask them to come in to discuss the terrible result. They sent me away and said there is nothing that they can do for me. I am devastated and out of $5000. The results could not be worse. They refuse to compensate me for it so I can put this towards a revision and breathe again. Don't do medical tourism guys! It's worth dropping the extra money to get it done the first time or not risk it at all. I spoke to one of San Diego's best surgeons who I am getting a revision with. He told me that there were many issues with the work that was done. They put it a graft without needing to or telling me. An excessively huge one which made my nose eventually droop. They did not slim down the bone enough and some other things that I do not remember. I am out of so much money having to pay for this twice. It is also worth mentioning that there is a possibility that their google reviews could be fraudulent. I noticed that four of the reviews are by people with the last name Robles (the same as the surgeon's). Possibly family? And one is by someone with the name of Lore, the same as the receptionist and not a very common name. Coincidence?
