Very Disappointed

My experience with Dr. Michaud was extremely disappointing. After my disastrous primary rhinoplasty (see photos), I returned for a revision, and although his surgical fee was waived, I still paid thousands in hospital costs. What followed was far worse: I developed a septal perforation after the revision, which left me struggling with breathing issues, discomfort, and a long, stressful healing process.
I eventually had to go to another surgeon to repair the perforation, which cost me $10,000 out of pocket. Throughout this entire ordeal, I never once felt genuinely supported or acknowledged by Dr. Michaud. After everything I went through, there was no real empathy, no sense of responsibility, and no meaningful follow-through beyond providing the medical notes I asked for.
I’m leaving this review because what happened had a serious impact on my life, and patients deserve to know how complications are handled here. I would strongly urge anyone considering surgery to think carefully about where they place their trust and to make sure they choose someone who stands by their patients when things go wrong.
Note: my procedures were in 2021 and 2022. I was so devestated by the results I am only just getting the courage to publicly share. I had to put a treatment date within the past two years
