Love the Result

I am just over 6 months post op, and I’m genuinely so happy. I truly feel so blessed to have found such an amazing doctor. As a younger patient who had never gotten such a drastic surgery, I was really worried about the entire process, and I wasn’t sure how reliable it would have been to travel overseas for this procedure. However, Yasemin (the assistant/international patient coordinator) was so helpful and reassuring!! She would respond very fast to my messages and concerns, which offered a sense of security, which was extremely important to me since I was traveling to a different country. She is so sweet and treated me like her friend, she offered recommendations of places to go while I was in recovery, and often reached out to make sure I was doing well. When I reached Izmir, the drivers (I did the hotel + transportation package deal) took me to the clinic, hospital, airport, and my hotel. Overall, the process went very smoothly. The price was also affordable which was another aspect I appreciated.

The day before the surgery, I had an in-person consultation with Dr. Mehmet Durmu?o?lu. We discussed my ideal nose type with the 3-d simulation and he was very patient and kind. I was really nervous since my nose had been an insecurity of mine for over 6 years, to the point where it impacted my entire life, so I really just wanted it to be perfect. Dr. Mehmet understood my concerns, and even though I constantly brought up my worries, he reassured me and made me truly feel comfortable. The next day, I had my surgery, and Dr. Mehmet came in to check up on me before the surgery while I was waiting in my hospital room. I honestly had never felt this cared for in any type of medical setting, and Dr. Mehmet and Yasemin went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I was able to really trust them, despite being so nervous. After my surgery while I was still asleep, Dr. Mehmet checked in with my mom and let her know the surgery went very well, which was something that really stood out to me. The level of care and attention was just amazing!

Overall, I had very minimal swelling, barely any bruising, and little to no pain at all. I also had difficulty breathing before my surgery from the left side, and he was able to fix this issue. This was another reason why I chose Dr. Mehmet, because as an ENT he values functionality as well as aesthetics, without complicating either.

Even when I went back to my country, Yasemin and the doctor would help address any concerns and also provided me the perfect assistance. I loved my nose at the beginning of its healing stage, and six months later, my life has completely changed, and my nose has gotten even more perfect. I finally feel so pretty, and choosing this doctor was the best decision I have ever made in my life. I highly recommend, and I’m so thankful for how he was able change my entire life in just a couple of hours.
