Not the Best Doctor in Pakistan As He Claims !
I decided to have my surgery with Dr Arfat as Pakistan does not have a wide choice of surgeons for rhinoplasty and as Dr Arfat claims to be the teacher to the local doctors I felt confident that he was capable of giving me a good outcome.
As I have been researching him I found a growing number of patients of his complaining about his bad results and how he ignored patients after surgery.
However his Instagram photos looked promising and he convinced me during my 25 minutes rushed consultation that I had no need to worry about the outcome of my surgery as he was a top doctor in Pakistan.
It has turned out to be the biggest regret that I decided to let him operate on me
He has left me with very wide nostrils and a crooked nose.
I now have a piggy front view .
I went to the village and my aunties asked me what I had done to my face!
I could have died with the shame as it was very clear to them I had bad surgery by Dr. Arfat.
This doctor has been avoiding my request for my pre surgery photos and notes .
This is highly unprofessional and is adding to my anguish as I need those notes & photos to show my revision doctor as he is requesting them .
This doctor is now very arrogant and ignores me but he was very friendly pre surgery now he is ice cold .
This is not the same man as I met in the early days .
My family are very upset seeing his treatment towards me .
He is also very expensive for a PakistanI doctor.
When I asked him why his fee is more than other doctors he said it is because he teaches them .
He said he is the best in Pakistan.
I beg to differ.
He is all hype and not as skilled as he appears .
Also he is removing any questions and comments from people if they are critical of him on his social media .
This appears to be a deliberate attempt to screen comments that do not show him in a favourable light.
All in all I wish I had not gone to him as both results and post surgery communication has been unsatisfactory.
