Disappointed and Still Left with a Big Nose

had a rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Somenek about four years ago, paying over $7,000 for the procedure. Unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with my results. After fully healing, my nose looked nothing like what I had expected or discussed, and to this day, it barely appears as though I ever had rhinoplasty.
I attempted to follow up with Dr. Somenek twice after surgery to express my concerns. His response was essentially that there was nothing more he could do. He attributed the lack of results to my thick skin due to my ethnicity, saying it made achieving my desired outcome difficult. However, I have since consulted with other board-certified surgeons who assured me that my skin type is not an obstacle and that the improvements I wanted were achievable.
Beyond the cosmetic disappointment, I now also experience breathing difficulty on the left side of my nose, as if my nostril has partially collapsed over time. For the amount of money I invested, I feel my concerns were dismissed and excuses were made instead of solutions being offered.
If you are considering rhinoplasty, especially as a patient of ethnic descent with thicker skin, I would strongly advise seeking other opinions. I still need revision surgery to achieve what I originally wanted, which is both costly and frustrating.
