Rhinoplasty and Lower Blepharoplasty
I recently had rhinoplasty and lower blepharoplasty at Girin Plastic Surgery with Dr. Jeon Ji In, and I’m so happy with the results so far!
What I Wanted:
I wanted my nose to look a bit slimmer and naturally lifted, and my under-eye area to look less puffy and tired. I mentioned this to Dr. Jeon, and she really took the time to listen to my concerns and recommend the best approach.
Doctor’s Advice:
She pointed out that my nose bridge was actually a nice height, but I had a small bump that made the tip look a bit droopy. She suggested shaving down the bump and lifting the tip a bit for a smoother, more refined shape. She also recommended bulbous tip correction and alar base reduction to help make my nose look slimmer overall.
For my eyes, she said lower blepharoplasty would be the best way to reduce the puffiness, and she also noticed that my left double eyelid was a bit lower than the right. To balance them out, she suggested lifting the left side a bit and doing ptosis correction to even out the muscle strength.
Recovery So Far:
I’m still a bit swollen, but I can already see a big difference. My nose looks more defined, and my under-eye area is so much smoother and less puffy. I feel like I look way more awake and refreshed now!
Something to Keep in Mind:
I did have to wait a bit longer than expected for my consultation, which was a little frustrating at first, but I understand that Girin Plastic Surgery really takes the time to make sure each patient is fully heard and understood. It actually made me feel a lot more confident, knowing they aren’t just rushing people through the process.
