It is a dream come true and I am very grateful

I recently underwent a rhinoplasty and septoplasty. It has been life changing and the best decision I've made, it's something I have wanted to do from a young age, I did years of research and put a lot into it. I only had one other consultation before where two other surgeons were recommended but I knew it wasn’t for me and had already been interested in Dr De Silva's work. Soon after I booked to see Dr De Silva and was put on the waiting list in order to have a consultation and instantly knew I wanted to go through with it. It was something that i'm glad I didn’t rush into and have done with another surgeon and was definitely worth the wait. It was an insecurity which was worse when I was younger, for the past few years I learnt to love it more and was happy but I knew it would always stay in the back of my mind and knew it was right and better to go through with it now rather than regret not taking the opportunity years down the line. And now I'm very glad I went through with it! I was nervous on the days leading up and of course on the day but I had nothing to worry about, I was in safe hands, the whole team were lovely and made me feel more comfortable and the entire process felt like it went by quickly. I was put at ease, the seditionist Dr Andre explained what will take place which just made me feel better. The whole entire experience was comfortable and safe.

After the surgery, I had very minimal bruising and swelling under my eyes. The swelling went away after the second day. The bruising as well got much lighter in colour after the second day and disappeared completely after four days. Overall, I experienced no pain just sometimes a little discomfort having the cast on as it's not something you're used to.

My result is very natural and I look like a better version of myself, I didn’t want to look like anyone else or have anyone else’s nose. It really has boosted my confidence and how I feel about myself and even helped other insecurities I thought I had and can now say I’m content. It is a dream come true and I am very grateful I got to experience the process with Dr De Silva.
