I am writing this review to inform other potential customers and also the office staff to maybe better their service for the next time. I seen Dr. Varona in January 2020 when I made my PRP appointment and paid in FULL approx $1,250 (cash) for March 20, 2020. All the covid-19 got out of hand and I understand and respect how businesses had to close including Dr. Varona’s. I was texted the night before my appointment very late stating my appointment was canceled. At this point I was still understanding of all circumstances. 

Since March, 2020 I emailed/message via email and Instagram approximately 3 different times no reply. I called the office about 5 different times and each time they would say they’d get back to me or they’re on another line. Not once was I reached out to in return not even to tell me they’re not going to schedule me. I would’ve understood if they weren’t going to scheduled until months from now but this business has lacked communication ever since my scheduled appointment got canceled. I would’ve appreciated them reaching out to me and informing me on any updates since I paid for my services I didn’t even receive the communication that every patient especially paid patient deserves. 

While them not reaching out to “an already paid patient” they are now taking new patients and reaching out to those and scheduling but me that has been paid has not had a single reply. May 12, 2020 i called for the last time and I got a text message saying “I’m on the other line but we’re going to call you this afternoon we are opening back up for PRP appointments next week” today as May 27, 2020 I never got my call back nor was I given an appointment date. 

With that being said I do NOT recommend Dr. Varona this office is very disorganized and has not communication skills for their patience and doesn’t make paid patients a priority.

On behalf of my practice I want to apologize for your experience. Your original appointment was canceled because it was the day after the California shutdown and we were unclear with how to proceed at that point. Since then, like many other small businesses we’ve been navigating on a day-by-day basis. Clearly you slipped thru the cracks and for that again I apologize. I’m glad you were able to speak to Raymond after your postings and hope the issue was resolved to your satisfaction.
