Decided to have a much needed mommy makeover! My surgery was on 2/22/2011. Had a breast augmentation and full tummy tuck. Was told by my plastic surgeon that I was to spend the night in the hospital which I would definitely recommend for anyone having both procedures at once. Was in a continuous pain pump. Dilaudid every 10 mins. It was glorious..no real discomfort. Went home next afternoon. Had to wait till I could void on my after the urine catheter came out. Took me awhile.
Slept on my recliner that night. Was rough because I had such crazy cotton mouth that I was constantly drinking therefor constantly peeing..no fun! I was up all night. Second night I opted for my bed. Slept on ,y back of course with pillows under my knees and arms. Iced my belly every couple of hours. It felt really good.
Out of the 2 procedures I only really felt discomfort from the tummy tuck. I had a 4 inch muscle separation so naturally there is going to some pain.
Oh and I managed not to sneeze for like a week..talk about pain ugh..always hold a pillow and splint your abdominal incision if you feel it coming on.
So I'm three weeks out and feel really good! Loving my results more & more as the days pass.
A little about me I'm 30 years old. A mother of two. A 9 year old and a 19 month old. Gained 80 lbs with both my pregnancies!! Im currently 5ft 4in and 123lbs

Let us know how your appt goes and when you think you'll start scar treatment. Did you tell me what you plan on using?
I'll probably start those silicone sheets around 4 wks. Right now I'm sticking w/ the medical tape, which helps with making the scar thin.
Don't worry about your scar though, you're gonna see how much it's gonna fade in just a few short months! :)
