So I am a 45 year old mom to a 21 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. I am 5 ft 10 in and 160 lbs. I am having a full tummy tuck with a breast lift and implants. The unevenness of my breasts will make the implants 100 cc or more different. So the left will have 450cc and the right will have 350ccs. My 2 week date to pay and go over all of the details is on the 23rd and then just wait until the Big Day. Let me say to you brave ladies out there who have shared the good and the bad of your journeys...thank you so much! Because of you I feel so confident and prepared for this and cannot wait to be on the flat side with you!!

Snowed in so more before pics:)
We are snowed in with no school this week and thought I would post some more before pictures of my tummy and breasts. Kind of looks like I melted:). My daughter actually squishes my stomach and skin around like she is kneading dough or something! I don't have an official list from my PS yet but bought some things on Amazon that other ladies from here said were really helpful in their recoveries. I have a walker borrowed from my dad and a shower chair borrowed from my father in law. I bought Arnica pills as well as Scar Away silicone scar sheets and the Peepo which I am hoping will keep me from having to sit to pee as well as keep my CG dry those first few post op days. I know I should be nervous or worried but honestly I am just thrilled I actually get the opportunity to even do this! I know it is serious surgery and the down time means I am not 100% available for my family but this will make me feel better and ultimately make me a better wife/mother. I know you all understand what I mean and I am thankful that my husband understands as well!!

paid in full!
I went yesterday and paid for my surgery! I am getting 400 cc's in one and 500 cc's in the other. My surgery is at 7:30 so need to be there at 6. I am still not nervous just excited still but I am sure as it gets closer that may change. Trying to focus on freezing meals and getting my supplies now. Pre-packaging spinach and pineapple in baggies for the freezer so I or my husband can make a quick smoothie for me. I was surprised that my drain will stay in for two weeks so hoping that does not drive me too crazy! Anyway, hope everyone is healing well or getting ready to!!

Your drains may not have to stay in for 2 weeks. That's what my PS told me and the first two came out at 1 week PO and the last one three days after that. I think they tell you 2 weeks just in case they have to stay in that long.

You are so close! Here's a list of pre- and post-op tips for you. Thank you immensely for starting your journey here on RealSelf!
