I broke my nose badly, but never got it fixed....

I broke my nose badly, but never got it fixed. Fast forward a few years and I was having trouble sleeping and breathing, especially while exercising. I am a competitive runner, so I had to get this taken care of immediately. I went to an ENT and was referred to Dr. Romo. Apparently, I didn't understand how bad everything was until he took the time to explain everything and gave me a mini science lesson. Dr. Romo determined I had enlarged turbinates, internal and external valve collapse and a very bad deviated septum. You could see my septum outside of my nose and I had a bad "valley" in the middle of my nose where the septum was deviated. I was incredibly nervous about surgery, but Dr. Romo made me feel very comfortable. It has been about two months since the surgery and my nose is healing very well and I can actually breathe. Dr. Romo said it will get even better, but compared to how it was before, this is already amazing! Dr. Romo and his staff are the nicest people! Michelle is always there to answer your questions and Dr. Romo has a great sense of humor. I read not so great reviews from other sites and they are 100% FALSE! Dr. Romo is director of facial and reconstructive surgery at Lenox Hill, he has published articles and books and he is the founder of Little Baby Face. This guy is the real deal. I wouldn't let anyone else come near my face. Side note: The week after surgery is a struggle. In the end, it's definitely worth it and Dr. Romo is there for you the whole time if you need him!
