Sticking my neck out

On June 17, 2019, Dr. Weinfeld performed a neck lift for me. I chose him because a year ago he did my breast reduction surgery which gave me the perfect breasts I’ve always dreamed of.
I was 74 years old when the surgery was performed and previously had a neck lift when I was in my mid-forties. I tried other non-surgical procedures (lasers, threading) but none succeeded in tightening the loose skin or removing the wrinkles.
One of the sterling characteristics of Dr. Weinfeld is that he asks you what you want, rather than telling you what he is going to do. I told him I did not want a “pulled” or “stretched” look. He told me to lie down on the table, held up a mirror, and said that is what it will look like and that was exactly the look I wanted.
His staff thoroughly briefed me on what to expect, the various phases of swelling and bruising I would experience and how to treat each phase. One of the more surprising aspects of the procedure was very minimal pain that was eliminated with Tylenol. The bruising was more extreme than I expected but it was greatly reduced in two weeks and completely gone at the end of six.
When I had my follow-up visit six weeks after surgery and looked at the before and after photos, I was astounded at how saggy and fat my neck was compared to what it became after Dr. Weinfeld worked his magic. Both he and I agreed that I can now pass for a woman in her mid-fifties.
I cannot give Dr. Weinfeld and his staff enough compliments for their kindness, professionalism, and care shown to me. He is an exceptionally talented plastic surgeon who performs miraculous work.
