Hello , I have gotten a rhinoplasty done back in July 2014. I am from New York I was 19 at the time for the procedure now 23 . I was recommended Dr. Vincent Giampapa in Montclair n.j. By dr.micheal a fiorillo of pearl river n.y. dr vincent giampapa. I am beyond destroyed 3years later and always will be. My confidence, happiness most importantly myself is gone. The amount of depression you have brought in my life is unbearing. I look in the mirror and I'm reminded of the looks of a clown. The out come of the tip of my nose is fat, bulbous and full of scare tissue. The bridge of my nose is indented from the steroid injections that were recommended from you to calm swelling. The over projection of my tip is not symmetrical with the rest of my face such as we spoke about. My breathing is destroyed because of this procedure. I do have inflammatory in my nose daily because of you. I also was diagnosed with a slight deviation for an ent md which I never had before my procedure was rendered. The True out come 3 years later is intolerable and I don't know how I tolerated this for so long . What I struggle in my life now is my nose. what this has brought is something I'll face for the rest of my life because of you. I will never forgive you Dr. Vincent Giampapa. You have given me no other options But to Sadley accept. The recommendations and visuals you had drawn out on paper did not match to the out come of my nose. I want you see the effects and burdens you have left because of your mistakes. As Your responsibilities as a surgeonI ask nothing more than to have my money refunded in order to undergo a revision. I'm so sorry you have gone through this. It might help to speak with others who have gone through something similar. I really hope you get the funds for a revision with a surgeon you can trust. All the best x

So sorry to hear about your issues but it's good you posted a review to help others who may be considering this doctor. So you should feel good about that. You won't have to live with this forever-you can get it fixed by a good doctor. Don't lose hope!

Have you tried getting a refund? I know a few people who even showed their CC company before and afters and then didn't pay.

I've tried only through asking Dr.giampapa , is offered a revision but I'm scared to go through with it I'm not sure what's the right thing to do

Hmm...yeah. It's hard to know if the result is bad just because of the healing process or because the surgeon's lack of skill. Honestly, your surgeon isn't ABFPRS (American Board of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery) certified meaning he likely isn't specialized in facial procedures. So, unless he can prove to you he knows what he's doing, I'd go some place else. Maybe interview with other facial plastic surgeons (even if they're out of your price range) just to get an idea of what others think is wrong with your nose and see if Giampapa's "diagnosis" is similar. If so and Giampapa can show you before and afters of cases with a polly beak deformity (that's what it seems you have), then maybe give him another chance. He might not be specialized in rhinoplasty, but his work doesn't look terrible and it might help get you a "normalized" nose again. However, if you have the resources, I'd definitely say get yourself an expert (getting the nose you truly want in a revision case is ridiculously challenging). Either way you go, good luck!

Hey sweetie , ask for your money back. There's nothing worse than going to someone you feel scared of and can't trust , and you do deserve a refund .

Hi girl the only thing is it's been 3 years I highly doubt he won't. He just keeps telling me I will give u a revision for free.

I think you should try posting on the forum rather than your own review. Have you checked out his other reviews? You should be able to find some other people on there.

Here's one negative review but it wasn't rhinoplasty.
If I was in your position, I'd start researching other surgeons, maybe some in NYC and find someone who is highly respected and has plenty of reviews. Best of luck :)

I'm so sorry about your nose. Vladimir Grigoryants is the only person I'd let touch my nose. I peronsally have not had surugry with him, however i have been researching nose doctors for more then two years, and he is probably the best in the world.

Sweetie I'm so sorry. You are one strong cookie to have gone through what you are going through!! My heart goes out to you. I agree with previous posts about Dr. Vladimir Grigoryants. His work is phenomenal and I am booking my procedure with him soon. I've done years of research and I'm very picky - I trust him the most. Good luck and we are here for you!

Please do not go to this doctor I don't want anybody to have the same experience I had I feel so depressed.
