Bad Scar Dropped Lip with Dr Rafizadeh

I got a lip lift done with Dr Rafizadeh on the 3rd of November, and I can say it was a big mistake to have gone to him. The liplift cost me $4000 and has already dropped 2mm from only 4mm that he ‘lifted’. Something about the technique he uses that makes it drop drastically as even his own assistant Chris got it redone by him. I’m left with a terrible scar that I suspect is from closing the sutures too tight that has me devastated. All for barely a noticeable difference as it has already dropped a month out. Original distance was 17mm, 15mm now. Don’t waste your money here

Worsened scar and lip drop

It has only been 5 weeks to my procedure and it feels like I’m back to square one with my philtrum length or that barely 1mm is shorter than before. Meanwhile, while I had no history of scar formation all my life and an a good healer, I am now developing a really ugly keloid scar. I travelled across to another country, paid $4000 just to be stressed for such a bad outcome.
In addition to all the Above, because dr Rafizadeh cuts the nasal sill, my nose is now looking unnatural & odd.

Ugh, I have been through this experience and i know how distressing it is. I'm so sorry you're going through this. The good thing about the length dropping is that you still have room for a revision!
If you're considering a scar revision in the future, you should get in touch with Dr Mascaro in Florida and get on his waitlist. I'm having my scar revised by him in two months. There's no one else in the world as experienced, but you wait up to a year or more to see him, so it's good to get on the waitlist ASAP if you're considering it.

Before / after & terrible scar

My philtrum was 17mm before and now it measures 15 and 17mm under the nostrils where the sill was cut. I feel stressed out seeing this outcome at such a high price & scar. I have always had a very good healing ability but the scar under my left nostril is turning thick & hard while the one one the right is indebted. Would not recommend
