Labiaplasty, Vaginoplasty, Clitoral Hood Reduction, & Rectocele Repair

I have needed a Rectocele repair for some time now and have been researching about a year. I found Dr. Aguirre here at Realself and was impressed by the reviews. His staff has been extremely quick to respond to my questions and super helpful! My large "elephant ear" inner labia have always been bothersome when it comes to exercise, lots of walking, and sex. They have just continued to grow as I have aged. My husband thinks I am beautiful and sexy just as I am but now that I am in my early 50s ,it is time to get this all fixed up for me.
I will be traveling to Denver later this week for surgery on Friday! I'm not nervous about the actual surgery but worried about how quickly I will heal at my age. Luckily I have tons of sick leave built up at work.
Here are a couple before pictures. I can't wait to get this changed. I have A LOT of extra tissue.

Tomorrow is the big day!

Had my pre-op appointment today and Dr Aguirre and his staff were all very welcoming! I have a little anxiety about tomorrow but am mostly excited to get it done. They took many pictures after a thorough exam so I will upload more "before" photos once I am back home next week. I will also update after surgery with my impressions and pain level.

After surgery

I will start with the day of surgery. Everything is arranged so easily here. The recommended hotel is only half a mile from the surgical center and there are restaurants, grocery stores, and a Target very close too. I arrived and was prepped for surgery, everyone was very friendly and helpful and I felt completely relaxed. Dr. Aguirre stopped in before the procedure to see if we had any additional questions. The Anesthesiologist came by also and completely explained the whole process that would take place with my general anesthesia. That was quite different than my hysterectomy a few years ago when I didn't even know I would have a tube put down my throat.(different hospital, different state. Surgery went well but was longer that expected. I was given a heads up that might happen since an external exam can only show so much. I woke up in recovery with two of the nicest nurses you could ever meet! I was still under the effects of the local block from the surgery so I had no pain at all. The short drive back to the hotel was not uncomfortable at all.
