Complications

I have had a few issues post op that have made it really hard to be satisfied with the surgery I had done. I'll preface this by saying I did have a bad hematoma post op that made recovery more difficult than I originally thought it would be. Now that I am four months out I am having issues with dryness and am currently using an estrogen cream to combat some of that. I don't have much labia minora left-very little honestly which is definitely not helping with the dryness. I feel like everything looks weird now that I have next to no labia minora left on the bottom and a lot of skin left on the top.One last problem I've had is I don't have a lot of feeling left in the top. I can't feel hardly anything around the clitoris. It just feels like normal skin now. The top part has been a problem since surgery. Before surgery I would take a walk everyday and now if I walk too much the top hurts-like something is being pulled on for a lack of better words.I am terrified that these issues won't get any better and I will have to deal with them for the rest of my life. I feel absolutely humiliated with how things look and all the issues I am dealing with. My confidence has definitely taken a hit. I am 20 years old-I should not be having issues with dryness, etc. I never expected for this surgery to give me more issues than I ever had with my labia minora prior to surgery.

7 months Post Op

I’m 7 months out from surgery and none of my previously listed complications have gotten better. I’m fact I would argue it has gotten worse. The swelling is finally gone-and now that I can see the final results I am horrified. A great majority of my labia minora was amputated. I can barely feel anything. The remaining skin at the top pulls when I exercise and really gets quite sore. I am dry all of the time and can’t even wear tampons anymore. This is a living nightmare and is undoubtedly the worst decision I have ever made.

I am so sorry. I recommend self pleasuring with a vibrator. She probably removed your nerves. There's more hidden clitoris but you might need a tool to access it. You can also talk to Atler to see if he can reconstruct.

I’m so sorry. I am experiencing the same thing. Amputation and no feeling, it’s horrific that this is happening at the hands of this surgery. Feel free to message me if you ever need support.

So sorry to hear, hopefully things get better with time. Maybe consult with a different doctor for revision. Good luck

9 months post op & nearly 30k later.

It’s been 9 months-She never offered any solutions. I went ahead and had reconstruction done-that’s how bad it was. I talked to multiple doctors prior to reconstruction-Horrified-that’s was their reaction the the botched job she did on me. Now I’m over 30k out including reconstruction + the botched labiaplasty cost. Nothing will ever be the same again. Ever. This whole experience has literally broke my heart. I had reconstruction done to limit all the complications I was having but nothing will ever be the same again. I feel like I was butchered on a physical level but the mental toll this has taken is no joke. I still hurt-and I doubt that will change. I can’t see myself ever dating again-or having children-which was one of my biggest dreams. That’s my reality now-and it really sucks. I’m so embarrassed by how things look. I’d give my right arm to go back in time and stop myself from ever going to her. I really do think she had no idea how to properly do a labiaplasty-it seems so many doctors have no clue. You don’t need to have a labiaplasty done-you are perfect the way you are. But if you do-please go to someone that knows what they are doing.

I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve been through. You’re not alone. I agree with everything you’ve said. Are you happy with your revision now? I hope things have been improved for you and you can put this behind you eventually
