So Bad

I had one lousy Botox experience and one bad lip filler issue where the fill he injected almost immediately migrated out of my lower lip line, leaving a shadowy bump on my lower right side. I should have found a different doctor at this point, but didn't because I was too busy and lazy.
My face is now permanently scarred from lower eyelid filler complications administered by Dr. V. I was overfilled in the wrong area with a product that isn't supposed to be used around the eyes. I looked crazy bad - lumpy, overfilled and swollen. I had no choice but to have the product dissolved which destroyed my skin. I've spent roughly $15,000 over the last 18 months on laser and other skin tightening treatments. I've had some minor improvement, but really there's nothing else that can be done. At this stage surgery isn't an option. I've seen several eye specialists who advised against it. I will have to wait until I'm a bit older for a mid face lift to tighten the damaged skin.
Needless to say it's been horrible experience.
I would encourage anyone looking for facial treatments to find a doctor who doesn't take injectables lightly and who specializes in the face.

Filler gehören nicht unter die Augen!! Egal welcher. Falsche Technik, falsches Produkt.

Thanks. Voluma is what he injected me with. It's not indicated for use around the eyes because of its thick texture. To inject it around the eye is considered and "off label" application. Hyaluronidase is also not designed for cosmetic adjustments. It's not the magic filler eraser so many doctors refer to it as. That stuff should only be used in the case of an emergency when filler is incorrectly injected and blocking a vein. It isn't FDA approved for cosmetic use.

I had it under my eyes too. Still there. Looks like eye bags. I'm just waiting for it to go away.

You are one of those patients that would be an injectors worst nightmare , your face looks fine.. people if your not ready for injections don't do them

I've been getting filler in small doses for over a decade. I only become a nightmare when someone is careless with face, which has happened twice. If you ever run in to an issue like mine, then maybe you'll be less judgemental. I hope you do some day

You have no idea what you're talking about. Do you work in the office?

I feel hour pain. I had tear trough filler almost two years ago and it was terrible. He used belotero which is a thin filler an okay for under the eyes but injected way too much (the whole syringe) and in the wrong areas. Had them dissolved. Please take a look at my profile if you can. Any suggestions from your experience would be great. I'm considering a lower bleph in the near future... thanks !

HI, I am so sorry you went through all of this. But it's great that you are feeling on the up, your skin looks much healthier now. I would like to hear more. I had filler put along my cheekbones and two years later I have crinkled, thin and sagging skin, sunken eyes, puffy pillows underneath my eyes. I don't recognise myself. Would you recommend PRP? Which treatment do you believe had the most positive effect and have you used filler again if so which one? Thank you
