BEEN REALLY BUSY SO HAD JUS NO TIME TO read or update..glad to be back and nice to see that so many of u have improved on accutane
I have been taking 10mg once in every three days for the past 1 month and my skin stays clear.My menses was heavy with no sign of stopping, last month,due to p.cod ,wont blame it on isotroin.So the gynae put me on an ocp for 3 months.
The skin is gud. Less oil,no acne.Cant be better but i notice that previous scars are healing v.slowly.For instance,i had two huge pimples four and a half months back and generaly the scars should have lightened by now. But they havent.is it due to increased photosensitivity caused by accutane?

Still on 10mg. Clear skin. TOUCHWOOD. A bit of dry lips now and then. Skin used to be unmanagably oily before accutane. Its better now..but there is a bit of hyper sensitivity to sunlight even at this low dose.Coz my skin and scars become kinda red after evn a brief stint with sunlight..i have never used a sunscreen in my life due to the oiliness it causes,but i finally

The harsh ,hot climate of india isnt suitable for a high dose,unless you have a really very bad cystic acne problem.So,am sticking on 10mg.Itspreventing breakouts and has reduced my skin oiliness.Hows all of u?

Continuing on 10 mg per day.i got two zits in the past ten days.They didnt become huge red cysts and resolved faster.Thats the good part.Am sure it has a lot to do with my Pcod problem.
10 mg is already doing a lot for me and i kinda think that 20 mg wil do better but i get a lot of sun at my workplace and am apprehensive about photosensitivity.i just hate using a sunscreen coz its making my skin sticky.
