Hyaluronidase impacted my own tissue.

Hyaluronidase impacted my own tissue.

I got three treatments of Hyaluronidase to address what I was told Tyndall effect in Marionette lines. I was told by the last derm there would be zero impact on my own tissue. After the 3rd treatment I developed hollowness in my eyes that was NOT there before. It has been devastating. Why do doctors say this is safe when it clearly isn’t? Also the discoloration that I was told was Tyndall has not improved.

i had this experience.. a year later minimal improvement. I ended up having a mini face lift. i am 34 . i would have never considered this before.hyalarandise destroyed my skin's integrity. the laxity has been improved with the lift but i still have hollowness under the eyes which the lift can't address.. I'm so so sorry.

forgot to mention.. had also had Sculptra 2 rounds, juvederm 3 rounds , 2 rounds under eye filler to try to fix after the dissolving.. the surgery was more effective .

Good question. I literally have hollowness that was never there! Its a nightmare.

You're saying that you had hyaluronidase to the marionette lines around your mouth and developed eye hollows as a result? I don't see how that would be possible. I've had hyaluronidase treatments and it doesn't travel that far.

I made a mistake when writing this. I went for filler for the marionette lines and she also put them in the nasio folds that caused severe Tyndall effect. Looking like I have a permanent mustache. That is where the Hyaluronidase was administered. Shortly after the 3rd more aggressive treatment I started noticing hollowness in eyes and indents in temples. Honestly this is way worst than the discoloration that is still there and I can at least cover up. I have a weird ring around my cheek bone surrounding eye and fat loss. It is blatant and shocking.

To add to this. I don’t think it impacted directly under my eye but more the cheek and and temple area that has significantly flattened out. If I can figure out how to upload more pics I will.

I think this can be fixed with some filler under eye...

Nona12300 I’m terrified to get anymore injections after this experience but my risk it because I can’t take the way I look.

Find a good review clinic and I think it will be fine.. My eye filler went wrong because I went with a doctor I didn't know... Before I had a good experience for under eye filler with the other doctor...

Nina I’m so sorry this happened to you, you mention you got the hylruandaise in your lines and nasal lines, I have an appointment to get lip filler dissolved on Monday, these posts are scaring me do you think this happened because they injected so much? do you know if they half strengthened it?

Hi Emarie731, my layman opinion is that you will be fine with a conservative amount administrated. I had it done twice with no impact. I wouldn’t have had it done the third time but I had an allergic reaction and went to a cosmetic Derm who scared me into dissolving aggressively. She swore up and down that it was a myth it could impact your own tissue. Wish I would have can back to the first plastic surgeon who quite told me “I am conservative so it does nor ink the your native tissue” he was much more trustworthy but fully booked. Just make sure you get a good injector that does a little at a time. Better to keep going back than to be sorry. Good luck!
