African Rhinoplasty

After 22 months of hating my nose I had to have a revision rhinoplasty on the 2nd of April 2019. I'm only 11 days post op and already the results are amazing!!!

I realised 6 months after surgery with Dr Ivo that I was not happy with the results. The graft on my bridge was shifting to the left side and I clearly had scar tissue forming on my right side of the tip (which I don't blame him for as these things cannot be avoided) but I feel that he should have addressed it earlier. My nostrils was so uneven! After expressing how I felt about my bridge he basically made it seem as tho I was making it up. It was obvious what the problem was but yet he was blinded by it. All he cared about was how he saw my nose abd not how i felt. He claimed it's because I contour my nose why it's affecting my bridge. No! I contour my nose because it looked lean and I had scar tissue that made it look even worse and my nostrils was uneven. He basically said there's nothing he could do for me! Oh he also claimed it was dark pigmentation of my skin that made it looked the way it did- how ridiculous! Another thing he said that annoyed me was "if you can't see it then don't fix it" that's my bridge he was referring to, he felt there was a problem, but because he couldn't see it, he won't fix it.

After almost 2 years and 5k down the drains my bridge got worse and worse. I was so conscious. I hated my nose! I had a perfect big nose before that I should have just left alone.

I wouldn't recommend Dr Ivo! I recommend you go to turkey and get your rhinoplasty done. Dr Fuat Yuksel from Longevita did my revision. When he saw my nose he said what a mess and addressed exactly what my concerns were without me even telling him as it was just so obvious to see how bad my nose was. My nose now looks amazing!!!!

Save your money and go Turkey cheaper surgery for better results.
