Okay so I believe it's been about 3 weeks?

So far I still have a ton of swelling around the lateral wall of my right side. Some days it's less noticeable. It usually looks more swollen towards the end of the night, but that's okay I'm trying to keep positive. I have an appointment on August 24th which marks 1 month and my birthday! I'll talk to my surgeon about my concerns. The tip of my nose is still vey hard and numb which is expected. My breathing is still amazing! Anyway, here's an updated photo from tonight.

Patience

If you're considering doing this then this is one thing you must must must start practicing. Final tape was removed Monday and let me tell you guys it's been an emotional roller coaster. I feel like it's the same with everyone. You love it ar first and then it's followed anxiety when certain things don't feel or look right. You have to accept the fact that this is not the final product and there will be irregularities. Right now my main concern is my bruising. Cheeks are all green and eyes have blood in them. I keep getting the most rude and confused stares from strangers. It's really annoying actually. I feel almost obligated to let them know I wasn't abused or beaten up. People need to be more mindful about how they look at others and how uncomfortable they must already feel. The added stares don't help. Anyway done ranting. The side with the most work done is the most swollen and makes me the most concerned. The bony bump I wanted fixed looks like it's still there but I am staying hopeful that it is just swelling and well eventually subside. Overall I love it and there is significant changes when I compare old photos. I just have to continue to be as patient as possible. For now I am just hoping the bruising is gone by Monday so I am okay for 1L orientation :( I definitely do not want to get weird looks from any students or faculty. Agh anyway I will update with any changes. For now I am trying to stay away from the camera and mirrors. Good luck to all :)

Photo update

Put on some makeup I wanna leave the house so bad >:( anyway so far I'm loving my results and I am no longer anxious! I hope everyone's has such an experience. I have been staying away from reading bad reviews and staying positive :) I read on here that so many girls spent some time post surgery reading negative reviews and i think we should all stay far far away from those! Will update over the weekend :)
