Entire Surgery Had to Be Redone- At My Expense
bmyers2022June 20, 2023
I had a lower face and neck lift with Dr. Hill in December 2022. I expressed concerns very early on in the process, but continued to try to trust the process. At my 3-mont post op visit, he told me he would correct the area with an in office procedure called FaceTite. I had hesitations and consulted with four different plastic surgeons who all agreed the entire surgery needed redone and that FaceTite was not an acceptable treatment.
Dr. Hill was unwilling to work with me on any type of surigcal revision leaving me out of pocket for this surgery twice. In fact, his own nurse frequently told me that, "he doesn't do many of these and she was excited to see my results." That's not what you want to hear as a patient. The entire experience was emotionally and financially upsetting- especially when I worked for six months to directly resolve this with Dr. Hill.
Included are pictures of what I looked like after my neck and face lift with Dr. Sean Hill.

Wow - he should refund your money. Horrible work. Shame on him.

I privately requested he do to help offset the cost of my revision and he declined.

Thanks for the heads up on him. I will now avoid him like the plague. What a devastating experience to pay that kind of money and get such a hideous result....and now you have to pay someone to fix it. He thought Facetite would work on this? What a bogus attempt at a resolution!!! He clearly had no idea what he was doing. I truly think I'd report this to the boards who have given him certifications and the Texas medical board.

What an insult after all the money you have spent for surgery with an expert to leave a generic appreciate your feedback message. Atrocious!

One comment indicated the need for a before/after photo. This is now included in my photos.

I cannot express how sorry I am for this poor outcome of the surgery. I completely understand you because I myself went through a very unpleasant situation after my deep plane facelift and necklift surgery where I experienced necrosis, half of my face was paralyzed and I have a similar condition on my neck like yours now and big scars because of necrosis. I'm interested in whether you were able to solve your problem by second revision? I read that you did an revision, so I'm honestly interested in whether a result like yours can be corrected, since I'm also looking for a way to help myself. Thank you very much in advance for your time and kind response.

You had plenty of opportunities to rectify this and ensure patient satisfaction.
