Facelift Failure and Pixie Ear
philsfanApril 19, 2021
It has been a few years since my facelift with Dr. Le. It was a lot to go through for almost zero improvement. I was left with a pixie ear, still sagging neck, and platysmal bands are still very obvious. I get Botox in my platysmal bands every 10 weeks, but it doesn’t help the exceeds skin he failed to address ..and it’s very expensive to keep up. He treated me very poorly post surgery. When the several weeks of swelling went away, I looked exactly the same. He also told me that I said to not make it tight and blamed to lack of improvement on me...because I said “Don’t make me too tight like Joan Rivers”. Why on earth would I want him to do all of this cutting to accomplish nothing??? I could not go back to him due to lack of trust and the way he treated me. I have still not gotten it fixed due to financial constraints, having a special needs child that doesn’t afford me the luxury of down time, and overall trauma from this extensive surgery that did almost nothing. . I have seen multiple facial plastic surgeons about a revision, but due to the constraints I’ve mentioned above , I have not moved forward. I’ve finally gotten around to writing this review. It has taken me awhile due to the trauma of thinking about all of this. I don’t like to think about it or talk about it. It’s too devastating. It looks way worse when the bands are not botoxed.
