So, I've waited 7 months to leave this review as I wanted to see where things ended up and will give you the good, the bad and the literal ugly. I'm a 61 year old female, have been up and down with my weight over the years, tried FaceTite for my saggy neck around 8 years ago that actually made my neck worse, so after losing 45 pounds on WW a little over a year ago, finally decided on having a neck lift. I was recommended to Dr. Wheeler by the Aesthetic Nurse I see for Botox/filler. I went online, read all the reviews, did my own research on the procedure and scheduled an appointment.
Dr. Wheeler immediately told me I needed a face lift along with the neck lift as the neck lift alone would leave a bigger scar and not give me the results I was looking for. In addition, he said I needed a mini brow lift to go along with the other two or I would have "puckering" at my temples. He showed me photos of what he was recommending and yes, very impressive results as he a highly skilled surgeon. I went ahead and scheduled the surgery at twice the cost I had budgeted.
I won't go into the experience in their medical facility, other than to say my overnight nurse had zero interest in actually making me feel better and they had me drugged up sitting next to my husband the next morning going over the discharge instructions for 30 minutes rather than doing that with him and then getting me.
My first follow up appointment they had someone with no experience take my stitches out so that took twice as long, but where the real problem started was when I had literally lost half my hair by the second follow up visit and Dr. Wheeler's assistant said to me "Yes, that happens and it may or may not grow back" as nonchalantly as she could. WHAT? How about my scalp numbness? SAME, MAY OR MAY NOT CHANGE. After that, I never went back for any follow ups.
Here's the pics before surgery, two days after (I look like a cyborg), two weeks later and last month. I wish my face looked as good as it did at the two week mark, (MY HAIR HADN'T STARTED FALLING OUT, NO WRINKLES OR DARK CIRCLES UNDER MY EYES, I WAS IN HEAVEN) but I guess I was still swollen then as some sagginess has come back and I have terrible under eye hollows.
I wish I wouldn't have let him remove my buccal fat as I have divots under my cheeks when I smile and it doesn't look natural. I wish I had never let him to anything with my scalp. I've spent hundreds of dollars on hair growth serum and vitamins (my hair has finally started growing back) and my scalp hasn't gotten all the feeling back yet, I doubt after 7 months it will get better, but I am extremely hopeful.
I think Dr. Wheeler is very, very talented, just make sure you ask A LOT of questions and be sure to weigh the unintended consequences.

After surgery at 4 weeks I also loved the results. It was perfect. But it was mainly the swelling. My jowls popped back up slowly. And now back but at least better, I may need a revision.
Why did they take out your buccal fat? We need all the fat we can get. I’ve already had two fat grafts since surgery but still feel there is some hollowness so I may want to do a third.
Booked in next month for temporal brow lift and upper bleph to refresh my brow and saggy lids area.
