I have been waiting to do my tummy tuck for more than 10 years. I never had the funds and when 2020 hit I decided that I will do what ever it takes to make it happen. Slowly I have saved my money and now have a scheduled appointment for my surgery on May 24, 2021.

Rock on! Be sure you have someone there to care for you. And get a recliner! Trust me it will be your best way to rest and get up and down. Don't mess around w/ sponges on the ground and other stuff GET A RECLINER. I'm sure you have done your research i do like this article: https://cleverhousewife.com/2020/02/my-experience-plastic-surgery-mommy-makeover/ Good luck, rock on! You will do and look great!

I already have one rented from rent-a-center. I have read how important it can be to be able to rest so I already have it reserved. I’m so excited about the surgery I feel this has been a long time coming.

I’m super excited and nervous all at the same time. When I get nervous I get cold sores so I’m having my doctor call in a prescription for some medication that will hopefully stop the process of the cold sore. Wish me luck!!!!

Day 2 after surgery

Had surgery on Monday the 24th. It was not what I expected. The pain level was real high. I’m now feeling a little better. One day at a time. Lots of swelling but hopefully it will start getting better soon. Drainage is going to stay in till the 10th day. Not being able to shower is the worse part. I need to feel clean.
