Good, Kind Experience (Ethnic Rhinoplasty)
I had my consultation with Dr. Kang in June, and my rhinoplasty surgery around July.
During the consultation, Dr. Kang was very relaxed and calm, his friendly and open behavior made me feel welcomed!
I was pretty sure in what I wanted, and he was honest and realistic, he even advised me to try visiting other surgeons too, or first trying filler instead of jumping straight into surgery, showing genuine concern.
During the surgery, I was awake, but my nose area was numbed, and whenever I felt something, they gave me more numbing. They were very kind and calm with me, even showing me occasionally during the surgery. The ladies there were all very kind, especially June, it was a small action, but she comforted me during the surgery and I really appreciated it.
And the results were great! I look so different now, it was a little hard to get used to, but I really like my nose now! My side profile is completely different, I like how my ethnic features were kept, so I didn’t look completely changed, it’s subtle, and beautiful. They gave me plenty of supplies, like gauze, medicine, etc… and they’ve checked in on me every month or so.
It was pretty pricey, but I think it was worth it, there weren’t any complications and the results were what I wanted! It’s healed very well, no pain, no sudden changes. Of course, it’s still a little swollen, but I’m very pleased. Little by little, I’m getting more confident in my looks. I think I look good!
