It's done and I live the results!

Today was the day and I was so nervous. The staff at the surgery hospital were awesome and the anesthesiologist made me feel at ease, going over the procedure and meds to help me with nausea. Dr. Dorner then came in at 7:30 am, gave final discussion about my over the muscle placement of my 455cc Mentor Ultra High Profile Silicone Implants and said I will look like I'm wearing a push-p bra, with cleavage and that they will look natural. He marked me up and then I was off to the surgery room. Honestly after it was over, I woke up and I was not in any pain, just groggy and tired. It is now 4:30 pm and I've been taking my pain meds and I still do not have the horrible pain that so many people talk about. I feel slight tightness, but it is tolerable. I have been getting up a few times to walk and to stimulate my circulation and leg muscles. I was also told that I can shower today, but I will wait until tomorrow. I'm so happy with my results and my husband who was against this procedure told me he is happy with the results and they look nice. I will provide an update tomorrow, I just ate and I'm starting to feel tired again!

Almost there!

Only 2 days before BA and I'm so ready! I purchased my zippered fronts sports bras, got one from Amazon and one from Walmart. I also picked up last minute necessities and a huge body pillow, so that I can be as comfortable as possible after surgery. I'm very nervous and excited at the same time. For the first time in my life I'm going to look more like the woman I've always strived to be. I know that breasts are not everything and trust me I've been beautiful with what I have, but getting this enhancement is really going to improve so many things in my life. I will no longer have to pad my bra, no longer have to wear 2 bras just to get a full perky look and no longer be worried about my fake boobs slipping out of place or becoming visible through my clothing. I'm going to be free and I love this feeling of anticipation!

Quick preparation update.

Just finished organizing my meds and body creams, so that I won't have to look for anything after surgery when I get home. Also, for entertainment and stress relief, I have my adult coloring books and colored pencils ready for the days I will be off work. I've taken 6 days off work and that should be plenty of time for recovery and when I go back I shouldn't have any bending or lifting, because I have a relaxing desk job. Tomorrow I will do some grocery shopping, getting high calorie protein and energy drinks, yogurts, fruits and vegetables, as well as foods to prepare quick healthy meals, that I like to eat. My daughter and husband will be helping me during my recovery, do it should be smooth sailing.
