1 week post 1st treatment
It's been a week now and I finally feel somewhat normal. There is some swelling but I don't feel like a monster anymore. The bruises are basically gone and the pain has subsided. There is some numbness, but it is tolerable.
Day 4
I find I'm in the most discomfort right when I wake up in the morning. Ibuprofen seems to do the trick. The area is still numb to the touch and swelling seems to be the same as yesterday. The yellowish bruise has spread but it's really only noticeable if you look for it. I'm really hoping this was all worth it. I'm feeling eager for results. I know it's only been 3 days since the injections, but I'm getting a tad impatient! I'm tired of the discomfort and swelling.
Day 3
I'm now on day 3 or about 48 hours post injection. The swelling hasn't gotten worse from yesterday, but I noticed there is a large yellowish bruise near the bottom of the treatment area. I didn't see it until I was in natural light and looked in a mirror. The tiny purple bruises haven't changed. The area really only hurts when it is touched or I turn my head too far. It's still not as bad as I thought it might be. I was prepared for the worst. This is the first time I've done any type of cosmetic procedure so it's been a little unnerving. I have high hopes though! I'll continue to ice and use the strap. I'm wearing a scarf to hide my neck a little since this is my first day having to go out into the world since my injections! Happy New Year!
