I Can't Believe in 3 Days I Will Be Getting a Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift W/ Implants.
I am a 36 years old, with 2 boys ages 20 and 13. I have been divorced twice my last being about 2 years ago. And now it's time for me. :) A friend of mine had a tummy tuck and breast lift a few years ago and was so happy.I followed up with her doctor which is Dr Leech and in 3 days he will be doing a Tummy Tuck and Breast lift w/ implants on me. I had my first son at 15 so my body has been a mom bod for a long time. I have always been heavier set. I actually was 220 at my heaviest. Finally with slow changes in my daily eating and physical activity I lost down to 150ish and have stayed in that area for over a year.And I have been saving for years to get this done. :) The last few weeks I have been stressing and scared but this week I've been getting excited. I am grateful for all the post and advice some of y'all share. I have been taking notes and have bought some stuff for when I come home from surgery I think will help and make recovery easier. We'll hope to be back soon and keep updates on everything.

Day of treatment
After surgery
So at 530 am I was at the hospital no one could come in with me. IF you dont know that will have you where compression sock.THE STAFF here was friendly and gave suggestion about post opt stuff. I met with anesthesiologist, then the RN and lastly my Dr. They all went over their parts and the DR did some remarking. Then they wheeled me back to surgery I was asleep before they parked me. Woke up alittle groggy but was able to do sentences. I was out released fasthandled it pretty well I guess. Getting up and down is the hardest and I feel more sore then anything.right now I think my pain meds are wheezing off. My boyfriend is here taking g care of me until tomorrow then it will be my mom. I've been trying to get up every 2 hours to walk around. I've been peeing alot staying hydrated. Here re some pictures from today. Think I am going to take some meds and a long nap now. Ttyl

Wow! You look awesome! Can’t believe you just had surgery yesterday! Thanks for posting! So helpful! My tummy tuck with lips is next Friday! I’m so nervous but it’s post like this that are helping calm my nerves! Good luck with your recovery!

My husband is taking care of me. My mom offered and I said no. I totally regret that and would love my mom to be here. This is more pain than I thought. I’m day 1. They told me day 3 is the worst because that’s when the numbing meds in my stomach wears off.

2 days pot postopt.
So yesterday was super thought. I was extremely sore. Sometimes the meds wore sooner then expected.But today has been a way better still sore when for the most part. My biggest mission right now is to try and get my self to pop. Lol I cant wait to take a shower today and see what I like with out all the.compression garments. I will have to take a few pictures so I can up date later before I go to sleep. Maybe do a side by side of me before and after.

Thanks for posting. I’m day 1 and in pain. I’m actually dreading getting in the shower :) I want to keep this garment on forever and not see anything for a while. I’m afraid to see myself right now.

I am fixing to post day 4 post opt pictures, and no matter what it is better then where I started. I think it natural for us to look for imperfections but it time we start focusing on our strengths and good qualities. I am not impressed with my belly button but it is what it is.

Oh and showers are the best! for me. I do have some one to help me when I put my compression garments back on just because of the 3 drains I still have.

I feel that is how I’m going to feel too! My tummy tuck and lipo is next Friday 1/29 and I’m so nervous! I don’t know how I’ll feel when I see my self either. Hang In there it sounds like everyone feels better after a shower

Thank you for the support! I’m going to try not to pay too much attention when I do take that first shower. I know it will probably look scary at first. I understand these results take time.
