Chin implant with Neck liposuction

I’ve always had a weak chin. I first noticed when I was 18 after a co-worker make a comment about it. I’ve been self conscious for over 30 years! I grew a beard to cover it, but always wanted the freedom to shave down and show my face without feeling self conscious. For Christmas this year, my wife gave me a new beard trimmer. I unintentionally got to aggressive with my maiden trim, and I was reminded again of how weak my shin was. Only this time, I moved I now have significant fat under my chin making me look even worse. The feeling of ‘that can’t be me!’ Was shocking. So, I finally decided to take this challenge in hand and solve it. I booked an appointment for a chin implant and neck liposuction! One photo is from last Christmas before I trimmed, the others were after I was attempting to grow it back.

Really hard to say how I’m going to look. I’m swollen, giving me a boxy look. The doctor advised me to keep my compression on for 5 days, so I will not have a clear view until then other than a bit of peaking under the bandages. Sleeping is a bit rough, mostly due to the compression bandages making it a bit hard to swallow. Pain isn’t too bad, and I have been keeping up with the pain meds they suggested. Honestly, I’m a bit nervous. The looks under the bandages make me appear really jowly. I know there is major swelling and it will take time, but I’m hoping I didn’t do something that I will regret. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
