I have decided to pick Dr. Barton Sterling, MD in New Jersey for my chemical peel. My acne scaring and wrinkles around my lips are horrible. The consultation went well and he feels I will see a good improvement in my face. I will keep everyone informed along my journey. My appointment for my chemical peel is January 20th. I will report the good, bad and the ugly. Stay Tuned!

Day of chemical peel. The doctor and staff were wonderful today. More painful than I thought it was going to be. I will be posting pictures every few days. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I thought I would be able tor work when I got home but could not.

What was the name of / type of chem peel which you had?

When I asked him the name. He said it was his own type and he mixed it for each patient... so I was never able to get an answer.

So I'm healing... slower than I hoped but I'm trying to be patient. The pain isn't as bad but my cheeks still burn when I wash them. I was told to stop Vaseline today and start a moisturizer which burns also. Go I for a cech up tomorrow but not sure there is much he can tell me. Will update in a few days.

I am still pretty red and Thursday will be 4 weeks but I am happy with the results. I will post a picture now.
