I'm scheduled for my procedure on 12/17. I'm finally taking the leap after considering this for over 15 years. I'm 40 years old and mom of 2 girls. Breastfed both and now mommy needs some help! I will get a lift and 350-375cc mentor high profile implants, under the muscle. Super nervous about the pain, recovery and complications because I'm pretty active and fit, but Dr. Strock assured me that if I follow his protocol all of those things should be minimal.

I was originally shocked that I would need a lift, but after reading reviews and seeing pictures, I understand that this is the better option for the long-term. Looking forward to my journey and will post photos soon.

It seems like the surgery date is still so far away. I have been going back and forth, struggling with feelings of it being worth it and why I need to do this at all. Then, I look at all of the wonderful feedback on this site and it helps reassure me that this isn't selfish and it's ok to do something for me......that I've wanted to do for years. And my before and afters help some too! ;)

Do you think I need a lift? I'm still debating based on other photos and reviews I've read.....

I had my pre-op appt. I loved how thorough he and his staff is. I was given very specific instructions and a color coded spread sheet to help me take my meds on time. The one thing I’ve never heard before is the recommendation to take antibiotics every time you see the dentist. He said it can prevent complications throughout the lifetime of the implants. Has anyone else had this recommendation? I will follow the instructions but I’m not in love with the idea of having to take antibiotics all of the time.
We had talked about 350 cc lollipop lift with smooth round, high profile, going through the armpit. However, he’s going to take 3 sizes and see which look best. I have a feeling they will end up bigger than I’d anticipated.
I’m really hoping everything goes smoothly and I get my drains out the day before Christmas otherwise I don’t think I’ll be able to get out and about to see my family. I have a ton of time off to recover before going back to work on Jan 2nd. But the downside is the holiday.
I can’t wait to post my first pics in a few days!

Interesting you had drains w/your BL/BA. I find it fascinating how PS are so different between their po instructions between massaging and drains etc. Hopefully your healing well.
