Update***

During my “2nd opinion” appointments with other surgeons to see what I could do about my implants, all of the surgeons asked me if I was told by my surgeon (Dr. Andreason) if I had been informed about needing MRIs with these implants. Nope. He sure did not. The other surgeons said I should have been informed and or had signed something that explains this and it’s at the cost of the patient. Again, nope. He NEVER told me or gave me any information about it. Dr. Andreason keeps saying it’s not true and MRIs are not recommended. So I called Allergan to find out about it. It turns out, it’s TRUE. Allergan rep told me that MRIs are part of the upkeep with this type of implant. They told me that the surgeon should have known that because Allergan provides all that information to the surgeons so that they may educate their patients. Again, he never told me! It even shows it on Allergans website. Absolutely DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. HE WILL LIE. and when he messes you up, he’ll require more money to fix what he did wrong in the first place.

Beware

PLEASE beware! My first initial encounter was good. He seems like he really has your best interest and is only willing to do what is absolutely best for YOU. I was WRONG! I went to him for an implant exchange, my 10 years. He convinced me that by switching from my current saline to a silicone memory gel implant was much better and long term would be the ideal implant. When I went for my fitting, his nurse seemed annoyed that I had so many questions and wanted me to hurry up. Dr. Andreasen told me that when going from saline to silicone I needed to "size up". WRONG! After surgery, I immediately has some concerns, he assured me all was "fine and normal". I kept going back to him every 2-3 months for these concerns. Let me also say, they took my before pictures, but NEVER wanted to take my after pictures. I explained to him I was having pain, that one implant felt fuller then the other. He then told me he did more work on one side and even cut my muscle more. meanwhile, the other breast was sitting higher and he felt that was normal. He told me he took the capsule out of one side but left the other capsule in. Fast forward, I now have a capsular contracture on the side he didn't remove. One of the visits I went back to him for, I explained how my breast was uneven, He proceeded to tell me that I should just tighten the bra strap on my bra to help lift my breast that was lower then the other. excuse me???!!! At this point, I knew he did not care about my pain, or fixing what he did. Be mindful that this is a serious surgery, and He is NOT worth the money! I have been to 4 other surgeons to get "2nd opinions" and every single one has told me what he did was not right. Every case is different, but in mine, he should have taken out both capsules, and should have never pushed me to get more CC's. I doubled in size. I NEVER wanted to go bigger. I wanted to look natural, that has always been my biggest request. I am 5'2 with 560cc. How natural do you think that is?! I am actually having trouble breathing and back problems because of these. I have reached out twice already asking for him to make right by this, and I have yet to hear from him. I have advised him at every appointment that I do not feel well. I have pain. He tells me every single time that I need more time to heal and then we can revisit the surgery. It has been a year and half now and he still says the same thing. Every appointment he tells me something different he can do and then the following appointment he tells me can't. He took my money, but did not care about the outcome! BEWARE
