Unfortunately Regrettable
Delgado89July 19, 2025
I chose to have breast surgery with Dr. Plovier specifically because of his reputation and expertise in cleavage repair, as this was my main concern. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. Despite making my preferences clear, the initial surgery did not achieve the size or improved cleavage of nipple height I had discussed. Instead, I essentially received a standard re-augmentation, which was not what I had paid for.
Just four weeks later, I had to undergo revision surgery to correct the issues namely a very wonky cleavage, a size E/F not D/DD max which I requested, very obvious rippling and I couldn’t lift my left arm as implant was in the armpit and I was charged again. Between the two procedures, the costs have exceeded £10,000, not including time off work and other related expenses. After two general anaesthetics, I’m now left with new issues, including noticeable rippling on my right breast, still have a wonky cleavage, the same type of implant which I asked not to have again due to the rippling and lots of new stretch marks but I can now lift my arm and I have a D/DD cup but I will need to find another surgeon to rectify all the issues I have now which are defiantly worse than before and and I deeply regret going through these procedures.
The first augmentation I was told he did not have time to move my nipples nor did he want to use two different size implants to rectify asymmetry but the rest could be done. I had 550cc Motiva RSF with him the first time 4 weeks ago - which prior to this discussions with other surgeons said anything over a 450 would sit in my armpit as my chest was too narrow - if he suggested I would have gone over this size I would not have agreed but I trusted when he said one cup size I was led to believe that was around 100cc in my frame before. I did not like the implant due to the size and rippling, we discussed using mentor or Motiva ergonomix again in a smaller size 425cc and 450cc the second time around.
While the clinic and staff were professional, The clinic is very clean and the staff are fab, the anaesthetist is by far the best I’ve ever had and I have not felt groggy or sick after either operation, the nurses were so friendly and helpful. The actual process was smooth.
The first consult I had with Dr P I felt he was quite cold but the second I felt he was more warm and I felt more confident (I’m not going to lie my gut told me not to have the first operation with him after my consultation on the day and I did say a few times I wasn’t going to go ahead) I wish I listened now.
I had a couple of tv appearances scheduled at the end of the year unfortunately the only one I think I will be able to go on is the one ironically for botched surgery and the emotional financial and physical costs associated with these types of procedures when they go wrong. I was hoping the outcome was going to be positive after this.
I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision

3 weeks Post op - no positive changes
Delgado89August 9, 2025
Just had the dressings taken off. I am now 3 weeks post op.
I’ve not heard from clinic as they are off now for the holidays.
As expected cleavage still wonky and nipples still low. Scarring in no better position. Gutted

Review booked on the 7th Nov

Unfortunately no improvement and one has significantly dropped. I’m pretty sure I’ll need an uplift now form the amount of stretched tissue I have from those huge implants. Nipples lower than before I had my original uplift years ago. I’m absolutely devastated with my cleavage. I’m 2 surgeries £10k and weeks off work recovery and I’m in a worse position in everyway than before. Praying Dr P can rectify this maybe I’ll need mesh or an uplift but I’ll update you all once I have the review with his recommendations as I have no doubt he has the capability and skill for better results I just think I’ve been unlucky so far.
Thank you for all your kind messages will update soon

Initially I had booked for the scars to be revised and put in the breast fold but Dr P said he was unable to move the position of these. I am hopeful this time that the results will be better and I will update as they heal. I did a lot of research prior so I guess I am mostly disheartened about the cost of revision (although discounted) without cleavage improved and the fact my cleavage has got worse not better. But we will see in time
