Confidence and comfort - I wish other medical professionals were more like him

Confidence and Comfort

I have great respect for medical professionals, but sadly have had many unpleasant interactions. Dr. Phillips was absolutely wonderful. Never met a doctor who was patient to my questions, had so much knowledge, but above else, listened to my needs and wants. I wish other medical professionals were more like him.

Countdown to Surgery
I have scheduled the surgery for 04/01/2020. I am both nervous and excited. Here are some specs about me: 30 years old, 4’11, 113 lbs, between an A and a B cup (A cup bras hurt and B cups are comfortable but I do not fully fill them up). I have chosen Natrelle Silicone Soft Touch 400cc. I have changed my mind about the cc’s 3 times. I started with 375cc, then jumped to 450cc but I am comfortable with the idea of 400cc. I want them to look natural for my tiny frame. I have found several of your reviews useful and want to give back. Feel free to ask me any questions along the way.

I suggest checking some of the posts that show enlargements after a few years... 400cc seems a lot for your tiny frame, and remember, gravity does exist. I had a lift (from a C cup) 10 years ago, and 10 years later they ended up pretty much where they were back then.... now I got a reduction and wanted a B, but ended up with a C again...

That is a wonderful observation I didn't think about. Thank you! Would you mind sending pictures so I can see what you mean?

hmmm, I don't actually have any, or if they are, they're buried somewhere in the pile..... sorry... I've seen quite a few posts on RealSelf though with people showing how they end up sagging (one recent one after 3 years of small (cute!) boobies having an implant, and they're almost down to where they were... will try and see if I can get that to you

Welcome to RS! It's an exciting journey your about to partake in. Here's a bit of info I found helpful along the way. Results vary based on bwd, skin elasticity, anatomy, stats and your PS surgical abilities. 300cc can look huge on one person and small on another. I recommend trying on sizers with a tight shirt to see exactly how they will look with your frame. Most Dr. on the Q&A forum state for every 150cc you "should" increase one cup. Let your Board Certified PS guide you as they have plenty of experience with implants. Sometimes when ladies try telling the PS what they think is best and not listening to his/her recommendations, it can end disastrous. Bring a few wish pictures to show the Dr. your end goal. Don't go by bra/cup size because all manufacturers have different sizing. Remember if going behind the muscle, you will lose about 10-15% from being compressed. The day after po, your boobs will look small from being compressed. Don't let that discourage you bc I was like what?!? But after d&f things get bigger & better! I hope this bit of information has helped you out. Good luck and keep us updated.

Update 1
Due to Covid-19, my surgery was postponed until 4/24/20. I have started taking the vitamins I was asked to take, I am preparing myself by having things within my reach. I keep thinking back to my c-sections and even though I know this is a different procedure, I am thinking of the pain and the things I needed close by due to lack of movement. I have my meds, water, cups with straws, and snacks in my room. I have cut toilet paper. I have my chargers for my mobile devices ready. I am very excited but also nervous. I fear ending in a DD size. I am very petite and I do not want something too big. I initially asked for 385 cc on Natrelle Inspira Soft Touch. I changed my mind to 450 cc thinking the first size would not make much difference. Then I thought perhaps just 415 cc (the size in between). I have compression bras that are one and 2 sizes bigger than I currently am. I have spoken to the doctor a couple of times, but the measures taken due to Covid-19 prevented me from asking for another consult. I will be speaking to my doctor and sharing my concerns before surgery so he may best advice me. I am excited and nervous about this journey. I hope I may be able to help someone the way so many others in this website have helped me.

I would caution on the safe side.... boobs tend to droop faster when they are heavy... speaking from experience

No, sorry, if I wasn't clear - it's just that the bigger the boobs, the faster they droop... I had a lift the first time, but the second time I went for a reduction, and I think he could've made them smaller! Good luck with your procedure!

You look great the way you are! I had 3 sets of implants over 19 years with 2 unknown ruptures. The last set caused me a lot of stress after finding breast implant illness while googling. There is a Facebook and Instagram dedicated to this with numerous stories and pictures of ruptured silicone goo. I had my 3rd set removed once and for all a few months ago. I am back to a AAA cup. I would have never considered getting implants in the first place if I was an A cup! The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Good luck to you whatever decision you make!

Something to note, I have read that every 150cc 1 cup size so 450cc would be 3 cups large than your current. Which would put you between D and DD. You should try out rice sizing to determine what size fits your body well.
