Breast Implant Revision - Going Smaller! Recalled Natrelle Implants

PetiteRevision27
Hi!
Sparknotes: Got implants in 2015 that were recalled in 2019. Also some aesthetic things I don't like. Going SMALLER with a lift, with a new surgeon. Revision in ONE WEEK! 1/28/2020
In January of 2015 I underwent a breast implant procedure with a surgeon near my hometown who has great reviews. I was a 32AA on a good day. We did the Natrelle 410 FF "Gummybear" Anatomically shaped implants - recalled in last summer (2019). When I tried on sizers I liked the look of 330 - 350cc. On implant day, my surgeon went with the largest, closest size he could fit - 290cc.
I did not expect them to be HUGE on my tiny torso (had thicker thighs/booty, though!). From day 1 I thought they were too big, projected too far, and once they settled I noticed my nipples were too high. Fastforward 5 years later, and I'm still having those same feelings. They're not badddd but they could be a lot better. They don't move much, and even look almost comical in clothes sometimes due to their size in proportion to my torso. And with the implants being recalled, this just seems like the right thing to do.
I'm scheduled for Jan 28, 2020 (one week from today!)
Pre-op stats:
4''9" / 100lbs / 25" underbust / 24" waist / 38" hips / 30AA/32AA
5 years post op are the same except for:
36" hips / 30DD/32DD
I'm going to Dr. Julio Clavijo Alvarez in Wexford, PA. He's been doing lip fillers/botox for me for a few years, performed a septoplasty 2 years ago which was AMAZING, and we did a co2 laser over the summer. I trust him with my life! If I could give him and his staff a thousand star rating I would. He is warm, kind, and really takes time to listen to your concerns and what you hope to achieve. He's also really funny (or at least shares my sense of humor), which just makes him even more down to earth.
And we are indeed going SMALLER with round silicone and a type of lift. I believe he said something about removing tissue from the bottom, and we guessed somewhere around 200cc - 250cc but we'll just have to see on surgery day. As long as I don't end up in an A cup again I'll be happy, but a full B or small C would be ideal.
I've included before pictures, after pictures, and wish pictures.
I'm probably an even mix of excited and nervous! one week!

Your day is almost here! Good luck :) I just went smaller too and I'm loving them! I had 270cc saline overfilled to 300cc. Just got them replaced with 195cc silicone. I wanted to have a more athletic look and better feels without all that extra weight on the bottom. I'm very happy :)

4 days post! Mummy-wrapped

PetiteRevision27
I had my surgery on Tues, 1/28, and was home by 1pm. We went from teardrop shaped 290cc to round 240cc. However, I am mummy-wrapped until this upcoming Tuesday, so I haven't really gotten a look.

I've been totally fine since I got home! I was actually listening and singing along to Justin Timberlake on the way home haha. I've taken ibuprofen and tylenol a few times, but haven't needed any actual painkillers.

I hate being in this ace wrap; I feel like a cat in a harness and it's making me feel anxious. My back also hurts from sleeping propped up. The general/overalI discomfort has subsided and the pain is more localized to my incisions. I think I can feel that I have stitches on my sides, which are the most bothersome.

My first surgery 5 years ago, and I wore a sports bra immediately after. So I am going bananas not knowing what they look like now! It's so hard to be good, especially when I've been a itchy this whole time. Am I a B-Cup? Am I a C-Cup? Did I go from a full DD to a small D? I HAVE TO KNOOOOOOOOOW.

I'll update everyone on Tuesday after my first post-op!

You can expect the exact same projection you have with the size implants you have. I had 750cc Mentor HP took them out for 2 years and put in 345cc HP(SRF) and I'm extremely surprised how big they actually are. I'm wearing a 38C today is my 2 week Post op

Hi there, I do not have as much projection post-revision. Also, I went from teardrop shaped gummy bear implants (very firm) to softer silicone implants.

Hi! Sorry, I've been absent from realself. The pandemic hit as soon as it was time to start wearing real bras again, so I haven't gone to get measured or anything. We went under the muscle. They were PERFECT when we took off the bandages, but my nipples settled high again unfortunately :( I'm in a 30DD or 32D I think. It's hard to tell with my nipple position and needing a larger bra to cover them. Overall though, almost a year later, they are SO MUCH BETTER! I don't know if I'll get another revision to correct nipple position.
