BREAST AUGMENTATION
WORTH IT
Was referred to Dr. Nguyen from a couple of friends & scheduled a consultation on 4/5/19. He made me feel so comfortable with the consultation & seemed to know exactly what he was doing already. Dr. Nguyen only does high-profile, silicone only & inframammary incisions (beneath the breasts).
Currently I am 21, 5’1” with size large A-cup but small B-cup. I’ve only worn Victoria Secret bras (32C), but they’re known to upsize their bras. My whole life, I’ve always worn push-up bras, especially the bombshell bra from VS. Told Dr. Nguyen how I am looking forward for a large C-cup but small D-cup. He recommended me sizes from 375CC, 400CC, 425CC. I ended up going with 400CC and we both started laughing since he knew the middle choice would be the best choice for me.
Ending up scheduling my pre-op date on 5/13/19 then surgery date on 5/22/19.
Going to Mexico with the boo on a cruise trip on 5/30 a week after the surgery so hoping all goes well! My goal was to make sure to have [RS bleep] before Mexico hahaha. Dr. Nguyen did inform that it usually takes about a week in order to heal and go back to regular daily activities that doesn’t require too much pressure on the top.

GREAT EXPERIENCE. 10/10 would recommend!!!
Had to change the date to June 5th, after my trip to Mexico because I was worried if I would be drinking a lot during my trip. I am currently 1 week post-op now.
DAY OF SURGERY (6/5/19):
Honestly I was so nervous and afraid. I was even tempted to not show up too like I didn’t care at all till my friend convinced me to go. (Surgery was scheduled at 7:45AM). Surgery took 1 hour, came in to do some paperwork and I was out by 10:30AM. When I was given the anesthesia, I completely knocked out and don’t even remember a thing. It was funny, because right when I woke up at 10:15AM, the nurse and my friend was like “you have boobs now!!” But since I was laying down I couldn’t see too well an I was like “uh wtf no I don’t”. I guess the doctor overhead us and was like “ready for your surgery?!” Haha. The first day wasn’t too bad. I was pretty much in bed the whole day. My friend had to help push me up out of bed and give me my medicine every 4 hours.
2ND DAY POST-OP (6/6/19):
I stayed over at my friend’s house in Orange County for her to take care of me. 2nd day I felt a bit more pain, but it was still bearable. I was having booby blues since I felt they were a bit too big for me, but then again they were still really swollen. My nipples were super sensitive and I felt like my whole breast was numb. According to my friend, I was recovering pretty well, so I was walking around to do just some slight stretches that way I wasn’t in bed the whole day.
3RD DAY POST-OP (6/7/19):
Originally I’m from Corona, and was tryna hide the fact that I got my boobs done from my family, but my nosy older brother kept texting me where I was.... -rolls eyes- so I ended up driving home that night (it was about a 35-40 min drive home) and I was holding onto my breast as much as I could driving slow. It was pretty painful since the surgical bra had completely no support. I couldn’t wait to see the doctor and massage them so they can drop and fluff already.
1 WEEK POST-OP (6/12/19):
Went to my 1 week check-up with Dr. Nguyen. He taught me massage techniques and said I could buy some sports bra now and to come back again for my 1 month check up. That day of, I was having serious boobie blues again at night and started to regret my decision on the augmentation feeling like it wasn’t how I wanted it to be. After talking to a couple of my friends they said I won’t see the exact form of my breast till a month later post-surgery and I will experience some days I love them and the next day I don’t. Time does fly by really fast, and I really wished it wasn’t as swollen. I was feeling scared if I’m gonna lose sensitivity for my breasts also since it was still numb. Doctor also suggested not to eat beef or seafood for a whole month for who knows why (forgot to ask) but said it was my choice whether or not I wanted to risk it. I think it’s to help prevent keloids? Not exactly sure. Ended up coming home and my mom made beef and seafood for dinner so I ate in silence because I didn’t know what excuse to give how I couldn’t eat that haha -cries on the inside-
1.5 WEEKS POST-OP (6/17/19):
Apparently my breasts weren’t as high up to my chest (got high profile) an look natural already! Of course, there’s still more dropping to do, but I’m instantly in love with them and have no regrets at all! A lot of my friends been complimenting how it suits my body and looks super natural!! I used to wear a 32C VS bombshell bra and it looks almost exactly identical. Maybe just a tad bit bigger but I think there’s more swelling for it to go down. Ultimately happy with my decision and would definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen. Recovery was super fast and well and I actually did not take any pain medication at all. My other friend who got her surgery the same day as me but went to a different doctor said how she ended up finishing all her Narcos and is worried how her chest was super high. We both got 400cc, under the muscle, beneath the fold except she happened to get saline instead while I got silicone. Overall, I’m super happy with my decision.

3 Weeks Post-Op
Wow time really does fly already. I’m a bit worried as my 1 month post-op checkup isn’t till July 16. My right breast is a lot squishier compared to the left. I think it’s because when I was massing it I focused more on the right because I kept feeling like the implant was moving away from the muscle/tissue and it made a little noise. Now that feeling is gone and as I massage my left breast I hit a certain spot where I felt sharp burning pain as I held it. I have no idea why and I pray and hope it’s not either a silicone rupture or a capsular contraction.... freaking out a bit but will try to update on pain throughout the week. It only occurs on the left breast at one specific spot when I touch it. This only started happening today :(
