24 5'2 36b HESITANT ON GETTING LIFT WITH IMPLANT

chi5
Hi! I'm 24 years old and finally planning on getting breast augmentation after wanting to do so since I was like 15/16. I don't know if it's because I got into running around the time my breasts started growing, or because I've fluctuated in weight a little through the years (anywhere from 10-30 pounds), but I have always had relaxed breasts.
Now is my time to finally get the breasts I've wanted and I'm super excited about the implants. Getting a lift, I'm not so sure of. I'm young, I haven't had kids yet (though I don't know that I want to give birth at all so that may not even matter), and my titties aren't that saggy. My nipples are simply low.
I have some wish pics but it's so hard to find anything from women with relaxed breasts that didn't get a lift so I have to take them with the grain of salt.
While I have consultations coming up, do you think I should consider a lift? Just want some opinions before I go in to speak with a professional. Thanks!

Based on all of the (hours) of research I've done to prepare for my augmentation, I think you'd get the best results with a lift, personally. But that's just based on what I've seen! Definitely get the professional opinion of a few surgeons and see what works best for you! :)

i got just implants to start but am now getting a lift as well, so i would say yes with the lift and your surgeon would portably advise it a well

Ahh, good thinking. That's what I'm leaning towards. Yours look AMAZING btw. Hope your process goes well :)

You may have tuberous breasts. I say that because of the way your nipples point straight down. My advice, since you appear to live in Atlanta, is to have a consultation with Dr. Randal Rudderman. His consultations are free, and he specializes in tuberous breasts. If you google him, and check his website, he has a section devoted to tuberous breasts. I have surgery scheduled this month to get mine corrected. What I'm pretty sure he will recommend is a breast lift only. You have a lot of volume, and he'll want to build a more "normal" breast to put the implant in, if you decide to get them. He will do implants, but only at least 6 months after the lift. He's very concerned about how the surgery will age over time, and he won't do anything he thinks might look weird after several years. I was very disappointed when he told me I would have to wait for implants, but I had talked to another surgeon who wasn't too optimistic in his attitude towards my outcome. I knew I had tuberous breasts, so I found Dr. Rudderman out. I think his advice is the best for my situation--and he might be a good choice for you. At the very least, you'll get to see what he thinks for a really great price (free, lol). Good luck! :)

Breast Lift & Implant Atlanta Consultations

I went to Dr. Amy Alderman's office today for a review. The staff there was really kind & welcoming, which is always appreciated. The wait was a little long in between talking to the staff (arrived @ 2:30, appointment @ 3, saw staff around 3:20, talked to Dr. Alderman the first time around 3:50, left almost at 5), but they did admit to being backed up. I don't feel strongly either way about the office. Dr. Alderman seems confident in her skills and ability, as well as that of her office staff, so that's really comforting.

I appreciate that they gave me a direct quote ($10,285.01) before I even decided whether to schedule the procedure. We agreed on 300cc saline for me. I'm 5'2 140 lbs & a 36b. I think this size looked really good on me, moderate but still noticeable round and proportional. I have 2 more consultations left that I will be sure to leave feedback on!

Dr. Zubowicz Consultation - Breast Augmentation, No Lift

For Dr. Zubowicz's consultation today, I arrived around 1:50, was told I could immediately come up since appointment was at 2 but typically you have to check in through their app. I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early because parking & finding building can be difficult because...Atlanta.
Even though I was immediately seated at a room, I didn't get seen until 2:40. They did apologize and tell me things were running behind at around 2:30 at least. I think for afternoon consultations, these offices just get backed up so get an early appointment if you're short on time.
Sooo he recommended everything that was pretty much the opposite of what Dr. Alderman told me the day before. He not only told me I had tubular breasts, which wasn't mentioned at my previous consultation, he recommended I just get the augmentation, wait to heal, then decide if I want the lift 6 months - a year later. I get it, because I may like the results of just the implants, and I definitely would prefer those scars, but he admitted that I had ptosis...so I don't see myself liking the results completely without the lift at this point.
Also, he urged me to do silicone and I kind of liked that Dr. Alderman said it was fine that I wanted saline without hesitation. Dr. Z thinks I may not have enough tissue to cover the ripples but I think it's because we didn't discuss sizing.
That's another thing...he does not discuss sizing at all during the consultation. That's only for pre-op, which I personally don't think is a great idea. I don't want to schedule the augmentation without have some sort of idea what size I'd like. Which leads me to my next point: he doesn't help with the size whatsoever. He allows you to choose, which may be good for some people but to me I feel like he should be giving his professional opinion. Even if he allows you to go completely off base from it.
Clearly I'm biased towards Dr. Alderman so far but I will say I appreciate his detailed look book of his patients that he pulled out. It allowed me to look at some women's results that had cases somewhat similar to mine. His quote was $6,626 which can be less or more depending on the surgery site
