I am only 1 week post-op, but I am very happy with how my overall shape is turning out. I do wish my butt was a little bigger or that it at least stays the size it is now. He did an AMAZING job on the lipo! My waistline is already so much smaller & I know it will continue to shrink being that I’m not even in my 2nd (smaller) compression garment yet. Dr. Perez bedside manner is wonderful. He is funny & very comforting. He spent a lot of time answering all my questions & I never felt rushed. I have had 2 pregnancies in the past & had a little extra skin (not too bad). He recommended a tummy tuck before a BBL but I shared that I’d rather just go straight to BBL & he did not pressure me to do it his way! The rest of the staff is just as friendly & amazing! Very happy!

Can you post some before and after pictures. I almost booked my bbl with Dr Perez but changed my mind and I am doing it in Miami, half the price and lots of experience as they are always booked. My bbl is 5/7.

Sorry, for some reason it cut off my complete response. Unfortunately I do not have a before pic. I think your results will be great from Miami. I would try to stay at least one week post op before traveling home. I didn’t feel up to doing much after the surgery until around then. Good luck & I’m excited for you!

My surgeon is Dr. Robert Kagan a board certified plastic surgeon with 44 years of experience. I am staying in Miami 2 weeks.

Added 5 week post op pics. Will update once I get my pre/post op pics from surgeon. Is the “fluffing stage” a real thing? Can I expect the grafted fat to plump or is this as good as it gets? Was hoping for bigger behind.

I don't think your fat will plump more but I do think the areas where the fat was taken from are still swollen and will continue to decrease in size, giving you more definition.

I also struggled with the thought of traveling for the procedure. So, I love the lipo done on my stomach, back & love handles. The pics I uploaded don’t show the lipo results well, plus I’m still swollen. I was hoping for a slightly bigger butt. However, some of that is out of his control. Retention of the grafted fat does depend on each individual body. I am very strict with the post op instructions to ensure I keep as much fat alive as possible. I also have always had a bigger right hip than left hip which I still have. I was hoping that would be corrected. Having said all that I still have some healing to do & so I hope to continue to get better towards my 3 month mark. I had a very pleasant experience with him & his entire staff. If you do travel I would plan to stay there for at least one week. That way you can hopefully get the drains out before you fly home, also I definitely didn’t feel up to doing much of anything until about then.

It is so hard to decide on a doctor I been doing research for a couple years I was leaning on Alvarez in his Austin location but his prices keep going up. The other doctor I had in mind is dowbak but there is too much drama surrounding her and her prices also went up.

Hey Edsbabe! Doing well. My overall shape is still coming along. I’m starting to really enjoy & love my overall shape. My butt still isn’t a huge change, however my overall shape is really great! I just posted my 8 week before/after pics. My Dr. typically doesn’t take any after pics until 6 months PO, but I really wanted some so he did just for me. I really do love the staff at Renue Aesthetics. They are so very kind, listen to you & spend time to make sure you’re happy.

8 weeks before/after pics. Dr. says I still have swelling where lipo occurred & waistline/back will continue to shrink. Just started sitting without my booty pillow. I’m so paranoid about it. Lol

I’m excited for you! I’ve definitely learned to be patient & give the body time to heal before judging the result. Now I have to work on getting back into the gym.
