Round yet flat and smaller
So it has been about 9 months since my surgery and many times I forgot I even had it . I dont wear my faja as much but I do wear a waist trainer everyday. Due to life and kids I have gained about 8 to10lbs since the surgery. Which shows mainly in my stomach. My butt has gotten a lot smaller although and kinda flat still better than my before pic. I try not to sit my butt for long periods and still sleep on my stomach. My hips have seems to still be around so I'm grateful for that. My focus now is to lose weight which still maintaining my hourglass figure.
6 months post
I can't believe its been 6 months. I keep delaying my post because I say I'm going to post pics so you guys can see exactly what I've been talking about but always get preoccupied with something else. I have come to terms with my results. I don't love them but accept them. My butt is lumpy and not round but bigger. I still have lots of scars which I really wanted to avoid but the many stichtes have left scars. I plan on using scar away to fade them. My hands and fingers have regained feeling but 'fall asleep ' often. It is confirmed that it was nerve damage. Something called brachial plexus. The latest discovery is a need another surgery to fix the hernia on my stomach. Ever since my bbl when I'm out my garment for more than an hour I'm in pain. Not sure what was going on while I slept but that surgery messed my body up. A few tips
#1 Please before considering a doctor look at what he is board certified in. (facial, tummy tuck, bbl etc.)
#2 Magic mike who did me has great comments but they are from people with 1 or 2 comments. This is a journey, look at those who have at least 4+ post about their journey, those are the true clients.
#3 faja is life. I still wear mine bc I have to but it truly keeps you molded.

6 weeks post-op
They say after 6 weeks you should see what your finally results are. I'd be lying if I said that my butt isn't bigger but before I go into that, please keep in mind everyone has a different experience and recovery. I meet someone who had the same procedure as I and the next day she was perfectly fine while I looked and felt like I got hit by a truck. I feel like because I wasn't recovering well and didn't speak Spanish I fell through the cracks. Second, because I stayed at a recovery house I got to see and learn more about different doctors technique not just their results. I wish I would have research more about techniques. For example, Dr. Rodriguez uses drains, stitches and many incision sites ( at least 10) all of which on me have dark scars. Other Drs. use non dissolving stitches, no drains and less incision site/ not on the back/ less noticable.
My tongue has regained feeling but both my pinky & ring finger still have a tingling sensation. I've gotten used to it, I ran hot water on them recently and I have feeling back but its not what it was before the surgery. I will post a pic soon but around week 3/4 I noticed a dent in my butt and immediate came to real self looking for answers. 1. it could be cellulitis or 2. I had a small dent before not caught by Dr. Rod. and surgery just made it worse. My man said its fine but it makes 1 butt check look flat. Lastly, I took my measurement before and I was 38-34- 42. now I'm a 38-26-43. I gained only 1 inch in hips and butt, 1 inch but if nothing else, I have a flat stomach which is awesome. Overall I wish I still had my 'swollen' results. my hips and butt have both gone down. Is it better than it was? yes, and on a good day in the right outfit I really my results but if he would have listen to my request, taken more time with me or looked at my goal pics, I know would have been happier.
