Dr. Reilly is 5 Stars on RealSelf and He Deserves Every One of Them

Dr. Reilly, Christine and his office went far beyond my expectations. I'm very glad I chose this office for such a major event in my life. Of all the surgeons I consulted with, Dr. Reilly had the best combination of experience and appreciation of nuance. I am a 26 year old male who has lost ~220 pounds through diet and exercise. I had significant loose skin on all parts of my body that could not be hidden with clothes. My biggest problem areas were my abdomen and my chest. The chest was particularly a challenge because of significant 3D asymmetry in my rib cage. Combined with extreme loose skin, my silhouette did not match my health and athleticism, and prevented me from feeling proud of my massive weight loss. After a virtual consultation, I had an in-person consultation where he planned out his method of attack to get the best results for my unique situation. He took his time and even went longer than the hour we had planned. He answered all my questions, of which I had many and some of which were pretty poignant. He talked me into a flur-de-lis incision for my abdominoplasty, as well as a fat transplant into my buttock. These two options I either resisted or didn't consider, but I am overjoyed that I listened to his recommendations for these. He also recommended an front->back approach between two separate surgeries, instead of a top->bottom approach. This was definitely the right call for the sake of my comfort during recovery. In December, I received the anterior operations from Dr. Reilly: extended abdominoplasty (with flur-de-lis) and gynecomastic surgery with nipple graft. I am absolutely floored by how tight he got my abdomen, considered how much skin was removed. I can see my muscles under my skin! My chest, despite the challenge of my rib cage asymmetry, is not only tight, but stunningly symmetrical. The results far exceeded my expectations. Both he and Christine would regularly call me to check up on me, including Christmas Eve! I also called or texted either of them often with questions I had about drainage, discomfort and scarring. I'd always get a prompt answer, including office visits. In January, after 4 weeks of recovery, I received the posterior operations: Upper back lift, lower back lift, Brazilian butt lift, and medial thigh lift. I had a possible allergic reaction to either the sutures or antiseptic ointment that caused discomfort and wounds. Again, the follow-up care was prompt, consistent and effective. Dr. Reilly was very attentive to this complication and prescribed antibiotics and recovery tips. It has been 5 months since that surgery, and the feeling of excitement of having the body of my dreams still hasn't waned. I look absolutely incredible. I feel great in the gym, in the office, on walks, everywhere. Dr. Reilly is 5 stars on RealSelf and he deserves every one of them.
