Areola Reduction with Little Breast Lift

I’ve been unhappy with my puffy nipples for years. Couldn’t look at myself in the mirror if my nipples weren’t stimulated/cold. Therefore I finally chose to put myself under the knife. I’m very happy with the result already at this point. Hopefully my review can help others considering the same surgery. My breasts are relatively small, which is why the donut method combined with a small lift was an ideal solution for me.

The result is beyond all expectations. Still wearing a sports bra day and night and still using tape to make the scar more flat. I replace the tape weekly. Will continue to do so for two months or more.

I love it! Your breasts are beautiful, I also want to do areola reduction, do you think you could upload more pictures after some time?

would love to see some updates too! thanks for sharing your journey! are you still happy with the results?

Update is coming up. Couldn’t be happier! Tho a little worried if my scars suddenly will get worse like other women in here. But right now it’s only getting better.

Look amazing and have healed so well! What are you doing to help with scarring? I’m at a similar stage to you but my scarring is a bit more prominent than yours - would appreciate any tips :)

Hi ptaylor96, thank you so much. Appreciate it! Im using tape and wearing sports bras 24/7. Not using silicone sheets or anything. 1 week post OP, I removed my tape and didn’t wear it for 1 week. I’m sure that was what my surgeon told me to do, but at my post check she seemed a little worried and taped me right away and made sure I taped myself for minimum 4 weeks nonstop. I suppose my scars healed faster at that time because of the fresh air. But not sure if that is something I would/should recommend. I had another surgery at the same time so I was basically laying on my couch for 6 weeks so no stretching or tension at all. Hope my answer is somehow useful. Good luck with everything!

My bras are primarily unknown brands. But the tighter the better. That will be my advise.

My I ask what sort of ports bra are you wearing? A zipper front or what brand would be very helpful as I go for this surgery next week.
November 8, 2019
For the first 2 weeks or so I only used the bra from the clinic. It’s the one with a zipper front. But since then I have changed among all of my sports bras from different brands. I do prefer the one from the clinic tho since it’s the tightest one. You will definitely agree - but it needs to get clean once in a while :) God luck with your surgery next week. I hope everything goes smoothly!

Thanks so much - I have a compression bra itch the zipper in the front from the clinic so I'll use it again

Finally got time to make an update! Everything is going well and I’m very pleased with the result! If I have to point something out, it’s still obvious that they have been placed on and they are not completely smooth with my chest. But I’m still in a healing process. At week 12 the scarring should be at it’s worst but I’m confident as I think my scars are as good as they can be. I’m stilling wearing sports bras and tape! One week ago I slept without and it began to pinch underneath my right areola. Was afraid the suture was cracking. So I’m sticking to my new bff’s, tape and bras! Haven’t felt anything since.

You look great- my bruising is huge on one breast but is going away. What kind of tape do you use? I am 1 week post areola reduction and still have my original tape on. I am supposed to leave it on until it falls off.
I sure hope that my results look like yours!!!

Hi Micharm. Congrats with your reduction. I’m using the original tape as well. I’ve posted a photo. But now I’m actually using more tape around the scars to make it even more tight and hopefully the scars more flat. Don’t know if it will make any difference at this point but it’s still a comfortable and more secure feeling to have it on.

Hey Lisso! Congrats for such a beautiful result. I had my surgery 5 days ago. I'm really looking forward to seeing my result, your post has really helped me. I was following it before my surgery too.
Are you around 3 months post op now? Would you say at this stage that you can tell from touching the scar area that surgery has been done? Or is it only obvious if you know about it? In other words, if you had a sexual partner for the first time now and didn't tell them about your surgery, do you think they would know something has been done?
I hope I heal as well as you :) x

Hi girl123454321. Thank you so much and thank you for a very good question. Tomorrow it will be exactly 15 weeks. I’ll give an update soon. Regarding your question, it’s still a bit visible, but I don't think a sex partner will notice. Especially if it’s a little dark - which it often is. However, you can feel the scars all the way around as the permanent suture as well as the scar tissue is a little hard. I try to break down the tissue with massage (gently presses the scars).
I hope you’re satisfied with the result so far. I wish you all the best!
