My motivation was to address the sagging skin below my chin. This is hereditary. I noticed this when I was I'm my early 30s as I began to age this was getting more n more apparent. My face has very few wrinkles yet my neck was obvious I hated it. I used all sorts of expensive creams yet nothing seemed to help improve the look or condition of the skin. I consulted a plastic surgeon and scheduled my surgery I am 5 days post operative and I love the results so far I can see a drastic change in my appearance even though there is still swelling I'm am happy the swelling is going down daily.

I had a neck lift

Sometimes (like my ps did with me) they also do a cheek lift/mid-face lift to get a smooth jawline with a neck lift. Your cheeks look a bit swollen. Do you have sutures, maybe a tiny pleat in front of your ears at the "sideburn" hairline ? You looked great at 52 BEFORE, no where near your age. How about that neck/head gear?!!! My ps required me to where it basically 24/7 for 14 days. It just kills your ears the first week. I wish you well.

Yes I have the sutures in the front of my ears. It's a nice to share with others who understand I knew no one who had plastic surgery done. Thank you for your kind comments

I think you doctor did a very comprehensive/expansive job, good for you! You found a great surgeon. I only asked those questions because I was a little surprised by what looked like two identical puckers the day I had the surgery. Later I learned those are intentionally put in to prevent hair loss from "sudden shock" there. It is a temporary stitch, that will dissolve, and the tiny pleat/pucker will be released, over time (I still have a little remnant left.) Goodnight. It was nice to share with you.
