It took me three months to write this review because my nose taken that long to recuperate and reduce the swelling.
I had a big aquiline nose but I was afraid of plastic surgery because men usually end looking very fake and sometimes even feminine. I’ve seen excellent nose jobs on women but even then I could tell they had something done. The problem was that some years ago I stopped breathing from my left nostril. It was so bad that I had to push my cheek with my hand to breathe correctly when going to sleep. My septum was so deviated a nose job was eminent.
I moved to DC just two years ago, so I didn’t knew how to find a capable surgeon. I asked a physician I trust for a recommendation and he told me to call Dr. Eugenia Chu at Medstar Georgetown.
I explained Dr. Chu taht the most important thing for me was to breathe correctly, but I was also tired of my ugly nose so I wanted a big masculine nose that could go harmoniously with the rest of my face.
I saw her twice before the surgery. To recover from the surgery it’s a slow and uncomfortable procedure but, guess what? Not even one bruise! Apart from the gauze they use to protect my nose, my face was completely normal.
I trusted her and I got exactly what I wanted: a substantial but subtle change. I can breathe perfectly, my nose looks beautiful (especially my new tip) and I’m impressed at how natural it looks. I mean, it was a big change but not even my family noticed what changed on my face. Its surreal, the surgery went so well it seems I was born with this nose. I was very lucky to be treated by the best plastic surgeon for rhinoplasty in DC.

Thanks for sharing your story, it was very thorough. It's always nice to see a male with the courage to share his story. Many men have similar concerns with their appearance just as women do. Unfortunately, alot of men feel plastic surgery is only for women. And express the same concerns as you did with looking fake and feminine.
Dr. Eugenia Chu, did an amazing job on you. You know you found a great surgeon when you look like you were born with your nose after the procedure.
Best of luck with your new nose
